If Jim could just put aside his difference with a lot of people there (Dunn in particular), I think he could be a great on air personality again, maybe as a commissioner or managing again, or hell, working with The Authority. Guy hasn't lost a bit of that quick wit. But, we all know that bucky beaver isn't gonna have it.

I don't watch wrasslin' anymore, but I'm always hearing the current WWE is dominated by writers, scripted promos, and out of touch/clueless people in charge, stifling overall creativity. I just don't think Cornette would flourish in such an environment. At worst, Dunn, or someone else who has a bone to pick with him, will force him into some degrading skit, like getting slapped around by Stephanie McMahon. A WWE contract probably isn't worth it at this point in his life.
@PAPITOFLOW6969

aguas cristalinas Wow. Way to misinterpret what the guy was saying. I watch the product every now and then and agree with him. Cornette isn't J.R. J.R. always toted the company line.
@dunnono00
@dunnono00 7 лет назад
Why would I ask a different Jim? Cornette's the shooter who doesn't mince words, while Ross is the long tenured company man. Cornette's repeatedly said he's not hurting for money, especially with his many shoots and podcasts, and made it clear he's not a fan of sports entertainment. I can't say I know for sure he'd turn down a guest GM role or something (he is a carny at heart, after all), but neither is it outlandish to think he's perfectly happy NOT having another job the place he once hated so much, surrounded by the likes of Laurinaitis and Kevin "Bucky Beaver" Dunn.

Cornette would make a great smackdown on air authority. Smackdown would gain a fair deal from his mindset too, I'd love to see raw be the entertainment show, Smackdown the classic show, and NXT as developmental

Jim Cornette down in NXT would be just the ticket because I don't think that Dunn produces their television, it's not directly under Vince's creative control and it's not based out of New York/Connecticut, a place that Cornette always disliked travelling to and around. He could do something once a week on their TV, be it manage a talent, or be the on-air GM whenever Regal steps down.
@spaceghostp6672
@spaceghostp6672 7 лет назад
Brian In Fingal NXT GM would be a fine gig for Jim. He doesn't even necessarily have to be on TV every single week, so the schedule wouldn't have to be as rough.

@@yourmotherslefttesticle3892 i dunno... HHH has a thing for wrestling history (like what he did to Bruno), and just like what he said in this clip as well as other clips really, and this is important, he really doesn't hate Mr. McMahon. It's really strange for a guy who's well-known to rant to just about everyone in pro wrestling to be really kind in general to the one guy wrestling fans blame for everything. I guess there's only room for one Vince that he's going to hate for the rest of his life lol

Jacob McMillan ob·scu·ri·ty əbˈskyo͝orədē/ noun the state of being unknown, inconspicuous, or unimportant. "he is too good a player to slide into obscurity" synonyms:insignificance, inconspicuousness, unimportance, anonymity; More the quality of being difficult to understand. "poems of impenetrable obscurity" synonyms:incomprehensibility, impenetrability, unintelligibility, opacity; More a thing that is unclear or difficult to understand. plural noun: obscurities "the obscurities in his poems and plays" synonyms:enigma, puzzle, mystery, ambiguity "there may be obscurities but no answerless riddles" Im sure raw fits some of those definitions or i just really dislike raw

He went to induct men that were a large part of his career.. he said in one of his shoots that he accepted that invitation because he wanted to be the one to induct them, and specifically said he went back to WWE with the attitude that he was gonna be nice to everyone that was nice to him.. but I've seen almost all of his shoots and I've never heard him talk about a problem he had with Vince directly, so why wouldn't he be glad to see his old boss?

I don't know but I kinda get a bad vibe from Cornette. Not that he's a terrible person, the guy is hilarious and is probably cool to be around but the man has spent a lot of time shot talking and then always in some way backing down. I know the hall of fame ceremony is not the place for any problems to be dealt with but i get the feeling Cornette wouldn't ever confront anyone in person beyond maybe arguing (except maybe Russo lol). Again just my opinion just wondering if anyone agrees. It might just me being too judgmental.
