So much talent wasted. When Cornette calls the AEW roster "Tony's action figures", it's absolutely true. As someone who got back into action figure collecting, I can tell you that I'll buy figures, photograph them for IG, then store them in Ziploc bags stashed away in totes. That's how it is with the AEW talent. Guys are brought in for a couple of matches and they're never seen again. Unless they're Yuta and Garcia who are being pushed to the moon for some unexplained reason.

I’ve tried to like AEW so many times and no matter how hard I try I just can’t do it. How anyone could think they could even sniff at being legit competition to the evil empire especially since Triple H took over is beyond me.

I never got my hopes up for AEW improving. We all know Tony is knuckle deep with the Bucks and Olivier, unfortunately.

Here's one path to fix all the problems with AEW: - Get ROH TV. Their entire roster is made up of the b-/c tier and below on AEW - Hangman beats Samoa Joe to become ROH TV champ. Beats Jericho to unify the two titles and becomes the top guy in ROH - Jungle Boy beats Garcia for the Pure championship - Garcia and Yuta quit their teams, become a tag team and beat FTR for the ROH tag titles - Regal screws Mox/BCC in his match against MJF and aligns with the new champion - The Elite win the trios titles. Shortly after, Mox, Danielson and Cladio take those titles. - Swerve In Our Glory win the tag titles back after Keith cheats to win - Jamie Hayter is the first one to pin Jade. A returning Statlander eventually beats Toni Storm. - Rampage is slowly converted into an all-women's show, allowing more of the big segments of the women's division to be more concentrated on Dynamite - Adam Cole returns and becomes All-Atlantic Champion. He aligns with nobody, and becomes the one true lone wolf in AEW. He's over enough to be able to beat anyone, but small enough to always have the thought in the back of your mind that he might lose - Enzo Amore becomes Hook's manager - Miro and Ricky Starks win feud of the year 2023 - Julia Hart continues to manage Malakai Black, Brodie and Buddy become a tag team in ROH

So basically Sammy can do whatever he wants because Jericho protects him. Page can do whatever he wants because his friends are EVP and those 2 guys are really toxic to the locker room

I'm a "lapsed" wrestling that wanted to give AEW a shot. I thought AEW was going to be like the Dustin vs Cody match. With Punk not coming back, I'm done with AEW. I don't watch anymore. I never got into WWE because what Vince McMahon was booking was an insult to me as a wrestling fan. Tony Khan's booking is just as insulting but with blood and an occasional cuss word.

Tony Schivone was straight awful probably the worst he's ever been..he said "this is great" 5 times in less than 2 minutes.

AEW is heading down exactly the same path TNA did, I think it’s not even a question of it dying, that’s guaranteed. The question is will it take longer for this company to die than TNA did...

AEW is getting a lot boring without CM Punk if Tony Khan acted like a boss by firing the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega and bringing back Punk because Chris Jericho is the only star in AEW with name value outside of Matt Hardy And Christian Cage and Chris isn't a heel can we just turn him face because he basically a face with the fans singing his song and Wheeler Useless is a Charisma Vacuum.

Well the last time I had sympathy for satan was probably a South Park episode, but even satan in South Park feels more natural and real than baby face mjf.

Jamie Hayter should be getting a big push to become women's champ. Instead she's helping to get "schoolgirl" Rhio over. She did a great job selling Rhio's moves which just shows how good Hayter is.

The whole "No DQs" EVER is just really so limiting as far as storytelling goes. I can't even imagine trying to come up with any kind of a story where they tell you things like that. No count outs, no DQs for not letting go of a hold leading to a ban of a move match, the old RKO hitting the ref to get DQ'd etc. Just tie your own hands in a knot and walk into a wall. Which you can see happening.

My buddy is an AEW fan. We get into arguments about AEW vs TNA and which one is actually worse... I have the stance that TNA has been around for so long that it has memorable moments and some credibility with their titles. X-Division has a history of exciting matches. ... To me, I imagine these rich people having a side bet. Ted Turner "I nearly destroyed rasslin!" Dixie "Pfft, I hired the guy that messed your company up and made him top writer!" Khan "I took untrained wrestlers with self esteem issues and made them EVPs!" 😶😱

This week's Dynamite was so meangingless, that when I saw this thumbnail I literally couldnt remember anything from the show except MJF got chokeslammed by someone who has had such little character development it may as well have been security.

The good things on this show were Jamie Hayter throwing Riho around, and anything MJF was a part of. I don’t know when it aired, but the promo of Twinkle Toes and the Hardlys being erased almost made me turn it off (not because they were being erased; I wish that part were real. It means they’re back…)

By the end of the year, the bucks will be tag Champs. Omega will be AEW champ. All three will be trios champs.

I'd like to see more of an old school approach to interviews. Gene okerlund for instance mattered...if he was assaulted it was like crossing a red line. They purely hyped matches within their character, and any skit was directly tied to matches happening.

I’ve finally come to realize Tony Khan just doesn’t know how to be a boss at all! I like a lot of the AEW wrestlers some are really talented but all this back stage drama is because TK just doesn’t know how to take control, I’m afraid he’s going to run his own company into the ground. I watch WWE too and it seems to be a lot better since Trips has taken over except for this weeks which seemed to be more Vince style unfortunately so it’s good to have something different to watch but Tony is killing his own company I’m afraid. His booking of FTR and others is bad.

I have a feeling Jim is going to be more and more disappointed with FTR and MJF but he should remember they're trying to make a living and he had to do stupid shit for crocket/WCW, WWE AND TNA over the years. Sometimes at work you just have to swallow shit.

It's a little over two weeks until the next AEW PPV, and I think MJF is gonna make or break whether I'm sticking with AEW for the time being. WWE is still WWE and, while it's better, it still ain't my bag. Thought that removing the rankings would open up better competition for the titles but all it's done is further expose how little Tony knows how to book at all. I've always been of the position that it's feast or famine when it comes to wrestling, and the pickins on offer got me feelin' emptier than they have in years.

I actually think Yuta has some potential. If booked and pushed right I think he could be an acceptable mid-card babyface. Garcia on the other hand is as vanilla as vanilla gets.
