Well on the bright side he's not off TV after losing to MJF...he's on TV once again this Weds and that's exactly what they should do. Keep this guy on TV.. i hope they get something going with him versus Samoa Joe and maybe build to Revolution 2023 Starks v Joe for the TNT title. Put the title on Starks and let him run the mid card for awhile.

Absolutely. Tony can’t book. Starks can be a great rival for him during his title run. This match should have just been for the ring and Starks should have went over after MJF tries to cheat and it blows up on his face. Then you can have a title match a few weeks later. Stretch this feud out and it can be magic. Then go on to Danielson. Danielson needs to be on tv and kicking guys heads in and get his steam back and then after this feud is done after another 6 to 8 weeks you can go straight into that but no instead we get 3 week feuds which suck and do no one any favors. For a company that swears they do long term booking (they don’t. Tony just says that when he forgets what he’s doing and then says it’s long term booming when he needs a reason to have a match again, look at the Hangman BS from a few years ago when he finally won the title). The booking of this company is just so bad that it makes you not want to watch it. The only people who get booking that kind of makes sense are the elite and Jericho. Everyone else (people with talent) gets slop and these 2 or 3 week feuds. Starks is great but his entire run in AEW has been awful and it’s strictly because of booking. The guy should have been a threat to win but he isn’t because he’s lost any match with any meaning his entire time with the company.

Starks Ethan Danielson all should be the main challengers to MJF, AEW needs multiple credible challengers who can take the belt and look strong when they lose to the other three or more.

Stipulations which they'd already shown in the graphics earlier, so Excalibur's breaking update was pretty lame. They really need to get on the same page with announcements and magic graphics that get updated with match announcements when one guy had just called the other out without any answer etc.

Every time I am ready to give up on aew they do something like bring in punk or giving mjf the title . Ricky's not reay for the top spot but he is ready for A spot. More of this less gymnastics

A great idea, but he has to actively work against Tony's ineptitude and short attention span to do so. Maybe Starks needs shiny ring gear to keep Khan's attention?

Yeah it could be HHH v the rock 2023 if they played it right. But Tony has to put faith in Ricky to do it. MJF needs a dance partner and all signs point to this being the guy.

We were all waiting for MJF / Punk. Now we probably won't get it. So, they do need to build a Babyface opponent for MJF. He's wrestled all the other top faces in AEW, so Tony Kahn won't revisit any of those.

He’s nervous because he recognizes the opportunity he’s getting. Repetition will help with that. I liked him better as a bad guy, but he seems to be able to be a decent good guy too.

It certainly doesn't help that TK has an extreme case of ADHD, He has too many toys to showcase, that's why most of the booking is the 💩. I think he's forgotten Miro.

@@hitsproducts9736 That’s a question that could be asked about at least half of the AEW roster; I saw a previous post, wondering where Miro was as well. It’s weird how many of AEW’s supposed top talent just keep disappearing; but I suppose that’s what happens when you sign as many wrestlers, as Tony has, without really knowing how he’s going to feature them all on his show. Tony seems like a kid playing with toys: once he gets a shiny new one, he forgets about the old ones…well, until his new ones inevitably break.

I forgot that was the finish but great way to save a Starks-Freeman II.

It was worth the watch. I was nervous at first cause Ricky had the bubblegut feelings in the beginning, but thanks to MJF slapping him in position, Starks understood the assignment and the match went absolutely great from there.
