The fact that Ninja Gaiden managed to be mentioned in a Jim Cornette Review is probably the most unexpected thing ever😂

Did not expect this video to drop so soon That match was a gold standard of an outlaw mudshow junkfest.

Seeing Big Show being thrown onto that car was like bad dream, it was legitimately surreal and disturbing.

I was told Ibushi was some generational talent but ive seen him no sell a tombstone off the apron, KILL the thumbstack spot tor everyone in the company & then the bike spot … hes simply another mark in the ring so of course he fits right in with the Circus

This was better than Rock vs Hogan at WrestleMania 18 according to Dave

If this match had had the Bucks involved, Dave would have give this match 7 stars.

You can really feel Cornette's patience with AEW running thin.

If Jim was this offended by this Street Fight God only knows how quick he will release his review of Hangnail and Swerve

Powerhouse Hobbs seriously needs to consider looking at WWE or TNA if he wants any shot at salvaging his wrestling career.....

This was rated higher than Hogan vs Rock by Meltzer. That is mind boggling to me.

As a fan of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series, I wish they never did this because there's gonna be a subsection of people that will think of this bullshit match when the topic of an otherwise great game series gets brought up Kiryu has better facials and selling when he loses an RC car race than all of the people involved in this match

I’m actually surprised it wasn’t mentioned how 1.) After Fletcher slammed Ibushi through the signs and chairs, fletcher was out the remainder of the match and Ibushi was up almost instantly and in the ring looking lost 2.) Kenny Omega doesn’t understand duct tape. He fails horribly in every duct tape spot he’s been in in AEW

I died when Jim said “Then he rides the bike all the way down and some other fucking LOSER clotheslines him off it onto his head”.

I first saw Ibushi in the Cruisrweight classic and thought he was good. When he came back in the war games rip off he looked totally different. The mounted punches looked so phoney and made me realise he's now phoning it in knowing the Puro fans will still eat up anything he does.

I know it’s been discussed ad nauseam, but hearing Excalibur trying to recreate the “He’s got a bicycle!!” moment is proof again that he’s one of the worst lead announcers to ever call a wrestling show.

I've tried playing the Yakuza (Like A Dragon) games, and I can confirm you can pick up the bicycle and swing it around like a baton. Can't wait to hear the review for Swerve and Hangman's Texas Death Match that happened in CA!

If this is was really going to be a Yakuza/Like a Dragon inspired match, then Omega and Ibushi should have stopped to race toy cars for ten minutes before continuing with the match.

Imagine, you are having a street fight, your friend has been body slammed to a car, your other friends have been beaten down and to beat these other MFs you go and get on a bicycle, and hit them with a pipe. No wonder why people can't connect to wrestling anymore.

It’s only a matter of time before there is a Droz-type accident in AEW. I’ve never watched 1 show but seen the clip of Wight getting bodyslammed on a car and it was beyond disturbing!

I was thinking Jim's probably losing his shit watching this lol. The bike spot where Ibushi was riding around and tapped Kyle Fletcher with the pipe was so ridiculous and hit Fletcher so soft that I was baffled that Fletcher still reacted and flopped to the ground as if he got hit hard.. I was actually relieved when Brian Cage speared the hell out of Ibushi off the bike. I can't believe people think so highly of Ibushi. This is the guy who I saw on twitter wrestling a sex doll, a little kid, and wrestled Kenny Omega in nothing but a jockstrap and let Kenny Omega give him the shocker and stuck his fingers up Ibushis asshole while he was hanging off the top turnbuckle with his bare ass exposed.

When he was on the bike and "hitting" with the pipe all I could think was I can't wait to hear what Jim says. I can not believe this got over 4 stars

As a videya game nerd since NES and Ninja Gaiden 1 (and having only played Yakuza 1), I'm fuckin' dying at them discussing "gaiden" and what the hell it means. I'm a newer Jim Cornette fan, and I'm often convinced that if you listen long enough, Jim & Brian Last always deliver good laughs for any generation of fan, old & new.

As a fan of the Yakuza series, this is hilarious. "There can only be one Corny".

I'm going to say it, Kota Ibushi may be the worst signing they've ever done. They probably pay him a ton. He has awful matches. He threw himself on thumbtacks. Now this bike spot?! He has added ZERO to the company since joining. He's been in a handful of just god awful matches AND he's retroactively making me forget that in NJPW, I used to enjoy him! Side note, that slam to Paul Wight?! Terrible. Not physically Hobbs is a strong boy just, someone needs to say no! Everyone was just saying that he looks like he must be in agony with the shape of his leg and hip and someone let him do this?!!!!! It didn't get Hobbs over. No one is thinking he's a monster. Everyone is asking why the hell you would let Paul do that?!

Ibushi is such a weird wrestler. He was super athletic not too long ago and he devolved drastically the last couple years

Every street fight AEW has is always the prime example of everything that’s absolutely atrocious with the show.

Jericho in the suit looked like a guy that lives in his van down by the river.!!!

Just when you thought the MTD Pitch Black and Texas Chainsaw match was the biggest embarrassment in wrestling, Tony and Jericho say "Hold my controller." This was just bad on so many levels, and once again completely tone-deaf. I'm glad Paul Wight's involvement was limited but he still should not have taken that bump. Kota Ibushi might be the most clueless wrestler in the business, between the bike spot and literally standing there for 60 seconds having no idea what he's doing and then botching the spot. JeriKaren got burned by Omega's intro and cried like a bitch about it. Omega cut his hand up, for 700k viewers and nearly broke his neck before the PPV. Of course, we all know Brian Cage was going to eat the pin when he was announced for the match. This match helped no one involved and is an insult to the fun of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series, Kenny wants to be a video game character so bad. Worst of all... Meltzer gave it 4 stars.

The only street fight guy I felt sorry for was the dude Big Show (I'll always call him that) threw off the stage and whacked his head on the edge of the other table. It would have been funny if Hobbs, after slamming Big Show onto the windshield, said "Real glass! Cry me a river!"

Every week, there's something that happens where I can't wait to hear from jim. I thought I wanted this review...but that death match is going to take the cake.😂

I remember a few years ago, we were shocked by how jacked Big Show got. However, he can't even walk now. He looks like Andre in 1991.

Surreal I'm listening to Cornette talk about *_Yakuza, a once miniscule series I played in the mid 00s that Sega refused to market and no one knew existed._* What a time.

In regards to Kota Ibushi, you can pinpoint his physical downfall to his match vs. Naito at New Japan’s Dominion PPV (2019?). The whole match was them focusing on 30 minutes of dropping each other on their heads and necks to the point it was obvious and just hard to watch. Now neither guy can move the same in the ring and are shells of their former selves. And I can’t feel bad for them.

I loved the marks saying "Oh My God! Ibushi did his DDT Spot🥰" Poor Hobbs....this guy deserves waaaaaay better.

Meltzer is 100% getting bribes from TK on these ratings for WCW Lite, I mean AEW

I'm not as prone to go off on 'garbage wrestling' as Jim or Brian. However, this was absolutely ridiculous. I can't remember how many times I laughed audibly during this match.

The thing with the Japanese dude riding the bike was one of the worst wrestling spots ever

It was hilarious; the way Ibushi was wobbling down the aisle on the bike (with what looked like tires nobody bothered to inflate) gently bopping people with the pipe and them selling it like the biker did when Tetsuo smashed him with an actual lead pipe in the beginning of AKIRA. XD

My wife and I were big AEW fans at the beginning of the promotion. It wasn’t perfect, but it felt grass roots. They’ve lost that along the way and the product has failed. It becomes harder and harder to suspend disbelief when we have matches like this to watch.

a "Like a Dragon" inspired street fight with Brian Cage dressed as a character from Streets of Rage 2 (a different Sega game) and the finishing move to end it was named after a character from a different series entirely instead of the series signature Tiger Drop. oh, and Kenny has a cameo in Like a Dragon Ishin, which probably explains this match.

Jim reminds me of an RGG character .I could imagine him as a sidequest character that teaches Kiryu a crazy heat action, like Bacchus.
