First 5 things that need to change in WWE: 1. 2 man announce team 2. Give the wrestlers bullet points but let them shoot on the mic. 3. Make the moves you do in the ring count 4. Change the format of the shows once in a while and let a wrestling match start the show surprise your fans. 5. Keep the mcmahons and hhh off tv and only let them show up when need be so its special when they show up.

Poor Jim. In the past few months we've made him sit through Raw 25 and a 75 hour Wrestlemania show for our entertainment. Is this really how we thank him for giving us two great podcasts every week?

I agree with Brian about Miz. Even in the HOF ceremony group pan he projects exactly the right level of Elizabethan emotional communication-not to the camera, mind you, but at the speaker. Good stuff, and I got the feeling he knew it. His promos are very good, because he's an actor first. His inring work ain't bad . . . just about on the Classic Heel level. Dunno if he's a safe worker, but it looks like maybe he is.

WrestleMania 34 is what has gotten me back into WWE after not watching WWE (Besides mania) for the last 7-8 years. I was actually invested in most of the matches and I think WWE finally has a roster of decent and interesting wrestlers again. I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Has Corny reviewed a young lions match from new japan? Those matches are like face vs face matches from the 70s.

Great idea for the steen/zayn vs bryan match.. they should of did it the way you told it! somewhat like when bryan was first one to beat the shield.. he dominated and the crowd went bananas ..love your show

Cornet nailed it about the Daniel Bryan match. I had started the Pay-Per-View 30 minutes late and was working from behind and I literally skipped about 7 or 10 minutes ahead as soon as Daniel Bryan went down before the match started. It just wasn't the type of heat that I was looking for and that return, so I skipped it.

24:05 FACTS! It was definitely the best worked match of the night! I'm not a Rousey fan but I give her credit for executing the direction she was given well.

That's been one of the biggest problems with WrestleMania the last few years, they try to fit pretty much everyone on the card and it's usually with pointless cookie cutter multi-man matches and battle royals. Now we have a men and women's battle royal at WM, and at the end of the day it's always pointless because it's literally just an excuse to get people on the card who aren't involved in any kind of angle whatsoever that the fans care about or are invested in. And even if you win it means nothing, just ask Cesaro.

The way that Corny and Brian describe how a Wrestlemania should be booked at the end of this was hilarious and very true. WM kept trying to arouse us over and over again for 7 hours "or whatever tha fuck" and by that point everyone was ready to take a nap lol.

I think they're taking what could have been an interesting heel turn with Nakamura from mania and turning it into a silly angle on Smackdown-the "me no speaka no english" stuff. It can still be interesting but it's already a big rib... I was actually thinking for half a second "this could be an attitude era angle "... I guess I spoke too soon

Damn.... if he’d booked the Bryan match it would have been so much better! I had to rewatch the AJ match a few times to appreciate it. It was really good, but the crowd was just asleep. Wish they woulda got an extra 10 minutes and kicked it into a higher gear, but it was a hard hitting battle

I understand Jim's concern that Cedric and Mustafa were a bit choreographed, but I do think that this is some of the Japanese influence in terms of fighting sequences. It's not new anymore so it doesn't captivate like it used to, but the idea is that missing a strike doesn't psychologically throw off the assailant, but instead, he's so good that he just instantly switches gears to defense and the next counter-offense. In the mid/late 90s, it was new and awesome, but I'm unsure about how much it works in pro wrestling.

Ya the mens battle royal was the first match. So apparently it was only on the network before the usa program even started. So ya for the FREE pre show.

Those camera-zooms they do now are quite annoying. When someone's getting some basic punches they zoom in and out quickly, and on some of the spectacular moves they do it and you can't see the execution properly.

Agree 100% with the choreographed stuff. Main reason I dont watch wrestling anymore. It's just gymnastics. It does look kinda neat and all, but i don't feel its even trying to be "wrestling" anymore. They almost all look like they are just trying to remember the next move in the set of moves they are doing. Could not agree more, Corny.

I somewhat disagree regarding Cornette and Last about the announcers of the other countries. I don't know about the other guys, but I know that the German announcers use that shot to welcome/greet their audience (just like English-speaking announcers do at the beginning). I assume it's similar for the other teams.

Mr. Cornette is like my grandpa (my grandpa is much older though, no offense), but loves and 'knows' wrestling. Thank you Mr. Cornette.

Corny is the man! Most all of his ideas about what they should have done instead of what did do were great. That idea he had for the team of Shane & Daniel Bryan was so simple, but so great. If they had done what Corny said on here Daniel Bryan would have blown the roof off of the place. It would have been a classic Wrestlemania moment.

I 100% agree with Jim on the missing moves bit. It always bugs me when a guy gets his clothesline ducked or they miss a strike, and their face never registers "Fuck he ducked/I missed". They look like they were expecting it.

You know..they should've had a count out angle for Asuka/Charlotte. You get to keep the streak intact (play it off that draws don't count as losses...but Charlotte could use that draw as a means to needle Asuka that she didn't win either) and continue the feud.. but hey, that's just me.

Braun Stroman's match should have been a 2 on 1 handicap match. Have Braun win and defend in 2 on 1 matches. Have Cesaro and Sheamus "train" new double team moves and improve their tag relationship or use it to have Sheamus and Cesaro Feud again.

I agree with most of what Corny says here, but when he's listing those who could potentially be THE guy in WWE if it's not Roman; they forgot to look beyond the Wrestlemania main card. Bray Wyatt could be a gray area face guy in a transition period. Okay, he isn't gonna be on top for ten years, but he could carry it for five. What about EC3? In NXT now, but won't be long before he's on the main roster and has chops enough to be heel or face for a good few years. I'll agree, there's no ten year fix to replace a Cena run, but there are options for an interim guy to run with it for a transition while they figure something out. At this point, ANYTHING has to be better than leaked finishes and obvious swerves that we're getting now.

Wakanda will be more than happy to broadcast WrestleMania lol
