@Tim He's not complaining because they complied with what their lawyer told them to do, he's complaining because they shouldn't have to. Obviously they are trying to not be sued for defamation of character, possibly other charges as well, but that pos shouldn't be able to sue as there probably wouldn't be a word that they'd say that wasn't true.

They're not AEW employees. They talked about it during the full interview. They haven't signed a regular "iron clad" long term contract with AEW yet. Its just a short term "handshake" type of deal because they're still negotiating on certain matters. That's why they were able to do this interview because they are not under any obligation to AEW.

I'm looking at some footage on Twitter and RU-vid and from the few good angles filmed it definitely does look like his arms were restrained. Plus, even if there wasn't video I find it hard to believe that no one is going to restrain him as they escorted him out. By the way, he did say that he had discussed with his lawyer what he could and couldn't talk about regarding it. He might have to say that the guy was still a danger and he had to "neutralize" (sucker punch) him because if its found that the guy was no longer a threat (restrained) and it was an unnecessary strike it could open him up to civil, possible legal (depending on statute of limitations) action. Maybe I'm over thinking it or just wrong completely, but I feel that could be the reason why he said what he said.

My only problem with them is the marks saying they're so cool for not having a gimmick -- imitating Arn and Ole Anderson or the Brainbusters is a gimmick, the Revival thing was extremely gimmicky (I mean one of them went as far as having "Anderson boots", for christ sake).
