Stock manipulation is baked into every high volume stock with big money behind it, besides price manipulation, there are a high number of manipulation techniques going on everywhere. I don't see why this topic has to be brought up again with GME. I'm sure all of you would agree with me on that.

@@louisekoonwae9557 a hedge fund shorting gme to the point it touches 3usd(they already at 80% gains during this happening), they got greedy they went 100% on short it to make the company bankrupt, some guy that had nothing to do, found out that gme is at 138% short float, he told people on reddit(/wsb), people are now pumping the stock so that the hedge fund had no other way than to buy the stock at whatever the price is offered to settle their borrowed stock from before. On monday, the hedge fund are losing 2b due to the interests, but got a bail, and now the hedge fund is doubling down to short gme, but on tuesday, chamath talk about buying a stock on twitter, people convinced him to go for gme, and then elon musk tweeted "gamestonk", drives the stock price higher, which those bail out just vanish like that

My wife passed away 3 years ago and I am now a single parent to a 5 year old. I lost my job 6 months ago and will be evicted from my apartment next week. I have no family and no where to go and it is bitter cold out. I tried to get assistance but was rejected, so I have no idea what to do. I spent the last of my money on food for my son and I haven't eaten in 2 days. To hear these hedge fund managers whine about losing because they were outsmarted at their own game makes me sick. Hey... I'm a boomer! And I LOVE short squeezes! The last one I did really well out of was PTON. Missed GME today (up too much pre-open) but I've done very well out of FUBO this past week and did pretty well on VAX today (dodgy company but a nice breakout for a day trade). A lot of these boomers still don't understand the change that's occurring. I ain't one of them.

bingo, short does have its place in the market, with all the investors and executives looing to increase their wealth through inflation of their share price there is increasing pressure to inflate the value. Short ends up creating a downward pressure to counteract the inflation. But just like over-inflation is bad for investment over-shorting a stock is just as equally destructive. They got what they deserved.

Just remember boomers have a long memory of sorts. This has happened before , when binary options traders, forced a melt up of stocks. In the soap, Traders, the guy they kept in the back room, doing millions of trades a second. Robotrade, is the answer to this. As a result the market tends to flatten out. Halting progress .

Whether you profit or not is up to you. Just because you short sell something doesnt mean you are betting on it to “fail” If you have a view that simple, you have a lot to learn. This platform was protected by the 1st Amendment, BigTech has been heavy handed on the Censor button of social media over the past year (1st amendment doesn't apply to them on their platform).
