When I was a young woman I told the dentist that I was so nervous I'd rather have a baby, he said hurry up and make up your mind I want to adjust the chair
I took out motor insurance with Aviva before they announced that they did not want anything to do with white men, so as I do not support sexism, I will be leaving when the policy comes up for renewal.
When you make a bet with a "bookie" if you win, they pay. When you make a bet with an insurance company, the last thing they will do is pay what is due without bickering.
Agreed. Aviva (previously Norwich Union) are the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. I always check that they're not underwriters for other companies as well. Would much rather pay more than deal with those bunch of sharks.
There is when they want to keep your money. Their logic,~ ' this is our money now, if we give you some money, then it won't be our money any more....no no no, that would never do, I mean we have shareholders and what would they do without your money, no' ~ followed by, ~ 'now piss off...sir'..
They're making their way into Northern Ireland, then down to the Republic. For every 100 tents removed from our main canal, another hundred crop up. Madness. #dublin
Stand as PM then make the NHS work, that's the best we could all hope for. I'd vote for you. I know that you'd put our armed forces back to where they should be.
Saga can do one too! last 3 years house and contents insurance £185. This year £760. No change in house, circumstances, no claims or anything different. Now is that just greed or is it because where I live we now have some new and interesting people living on a big barge in the harbour?
Hi Jim, Put your medical Insurance money in an ISA and pay for your own treatment. I left Bupa for the same reason the premiums went up as I got older and the restrictions got more and more, I decided to just pay to go private with the saved up premiums.
My wife has medical insurance as part of her salary package. If she's ill, she goes to a private hospital, they treat her and everything is good. Well it would be if it wasn't for the fact that HMRC say that it's a perk and she has to pay tax. Fair enough, but it's saved the NHS a patient and the costs associated with it. I don't really accept the tax bill, she's saving the public purse.
Listening to you and what you say is like a breath of fresh air. Taking me back to time when everything was not banned and one could drive anywhere without being fined and tracked. Heady days ole friend! Like the nashers.
I had a set of those 'Japanese Interrogator' temporary railing fitted a few years ago - WAIT! until they TRY! to get them OFF! again - I thought my FACE was going to break in TWO! - The dentist then had to use his circular saw to CUT them off!! - With the Red-Hot Plastic dropping ONTO My tongue without protection ... AARRGGHH!!!!!!!! 😱😱.... Good luck Jim - You'll need it 😂😂
Private insurance if like America will suprise you . My brother, 35 years in America, oaud up in full. Went into hospital in the final stages of pancreatic cancer. After a short time asked to leave hospital and take a mobile morphene drip with him, as the money had ran out. He refused and within a week he had passed. The doctor when visiting, for all of 2 minutes was charging £ 110. The person in the next bed was told for all to hear , you need to go tomorrow as your money has ran out . He too was dying if cancer, his two sons arrived to take him the next day . Nock our NHS but private health cover is disgusting to the extreem .
Well done on sticking it out and finally getting your bass im.only 20mins away from there and ive not fished it this year i will have to go....tight lines congrats on 5k subs..
My NHS dentist offered me "insurance" that would cover 2 checkups and 2 visits to the hygienist. The sum was the cost of those visits plus 20% "for admin". So now I'm an OAP, the checkups are free. But guess what? The insurance cost is till the same!
Aviva used to Be Called Norwich Union! Aye you Got a Light Boy ? Aviva took Over & Cancelled All Motorcycle Insurance Policies After Years of Me Being a Loyal Customer with Norwich Union That was a Better Name Anyway
I had a non fault lorry collision back in 2012. It took me 7 years and 3 months to beat Aviva in the CROWN COURTS!!!! Just me on my lonesome, didn't employ any legal beagle, against a Barrister every time we went. THEY PAID ME BOYO. Never again will I pay a penny to them for anything.
Just think of the poor sods in America whose only option is medical insurance. If you can't afford it you're buggered. If the insurance company wriggle out of paying, you're buggered and in debt for the rest of your life. There are so many suicides in America for this very reason...
