You're right Jim these new LED lights are totally ridiculous and are far brighter than they need to be. It is just another ploy to fleece drivers, they must cost a fortune to replace. Get back to halogen quartz. These are as bright as you need.

It's not so much that the LED headlights are brighter, it's that the majority of cars sold these days are tall Crossovers or SUVs, which have headlights at a higher level.
