According to the BBC's "The Story of Africa: Slavery", King Tegbesu, of the north African country known as Benin, made 250,000 pounds a year, selling slaves in 1750. If anyone wants reparations I recommend contacting King Tegbesu's descendants.

Secondly, the African slave trade was up and running before Europeans got in on the act and it was Africans enslaving Africans. Come to think of it my Grandfather at the age of 15 ran away from the orphanage that housed him. He lied about his age and joined the Army. After a years trading they sent him and his regiment to Africa to fight in one of the Boer wars. Should I offer the now president my condolances and offer to pay him compensation. When I was a kid in the 70s and 80s I never thought of us being different. I lived in a small village in Durham and nearly all of us were white. There were a couple of Asian (mainly Chinese) and some Blacks (all adopted by white families). I had the best time. Michael Wall my black friend was the most incredible maths talent and we all looked up to him This was the 70s. Now I think we are more divided than I can remember us being. How about an upto date cost of what the British working public have paid for the slave manumission, which we only stopped paying in 2015, I'm guessing it was a bit more than £1 a week!
