The beginning of a new era. Especially the last two years. He has delivered on his pledge of excellence. I thought he was toast after the 2020 disaster. Glad I was dead wrong and couldn't be any happier. No one has it better than you, Coach Harbaugh. Go Blue! 〽️💛💙
Big Ohio State Fan here...I remember Jim in Crestline Ohio back in the 70s. Best of luck to coach Harbaugh and Michigan...we need you guys back in the rivalry and stepping up the BIG...
As a Seahawk Fan, I wish Jim the best of luck on his new job at the University of Michigan. Good luck Jim, will miss the good old rivalry both our teams had, but still good luck.
Thanks for posting this. I graduated from UM in '70, and still thrill to the tune of Hail to the Victors Valiant. Jim Harbaugh looks, talks and acts like a victor valiant. I'm excited about the future.
Yes very very very well as far as we Buckeyes fans are concerned I hope they keep this clown and as the old saying goes "even a blind squirrel can find a nut" a fluke oce every decade win isn't going to bother us and THE Ohio State Buckeyes is and always are THE class of this sorry conference.
@@kelleymunnerlyn7110 Hackett’s hire will do to Michigan football what he did as CEO of Ford… Hackett was ousted as CEO and Ford’s stock plummeted just like Harbaugh’s floundering coaching career at Michigan.
Yep..I grew up in the 50s and 60s …..in Ohio …a pair of black converse tennis shoes , 8 dollars , team sweatshirt , 10 dollars , …..beating Michigan ….priceless !
They haven't beaten Michigan since you made this comment. They also won a national title, so keep making comments and continue making yourself look dumb.
7 years later....no national championship, no college playoffs appearances, no big ten titles, never even won their division, NO WINS against Ohio state.........1 bowl game win.... That's what he did here, 1 Bowl game win.....in the time he has been here, Ohio state, Michigan state, and Penn state have all won the big ten championship......
Well, Jim Harbaugh did win a Big Ten title in 2021, but still lost another bowl game. This time, Michigan was thrashed by Georgia in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Orange Bowl. It's five straight bowl game losses for Jim Harbaugh.
Jim: Did I leave the NFL dismayed? Uhhh sorry, I don't understand what that means, duh Really?!?! Well, he was hired to coach football, not be involved in academics. Great roll model for all of the dumb athletes colleges produce these days.
Yes thats also possible. I think she asked it that way as to not be specific, on purpose, hoping he would comment on not winning a superbowl our having a lackluster final season.
9 years later and hearing a ton of Jim Harbaugh interviews, I'm positive he was just deflecting. He's masterful at deflecting difficult questions. And that was a difficult question.
Harbaugh brings great experience, hard work ethic, great pride, a sense of history, and great intensity to a Michigan football team that badly needs these things in these dark years. Whatever happens this year and during the next few years of rebuilding, you can be sure that this guy is a fighter and will do everything in his power to rebuild this team. What else can one ask for from a coach?!!! Ohio State should be glad about this. What's more empty than beating a team every year that is inferior? Greatness can only be achieved when you play against great rivals - win or lose.....
Michigan fans are going to love him as a head coach, no doubt. But as someone who followed Harbaugh very closely at Stanford and in SF, I guarantee you will love his personality more. He might be one of the most misunderstood individuals in all of American sports. Great guy at heart, incredible enthusiasm and a very, very unique perspective on life that we all could benefit from.
