Jim Henson appeared with Kermit on November 16, 1974. The panel consisted of Arlene Francis, Dr. Joyce Brothers, Jack Cassidy, and Soupy Sales. The following Mystery Guest was Dick Cavett
I love how Soupy Sales said hello to Kermit. It just goes to show how real the Muppets are to people. I said it before, and I'll say it a million times. Jim Henson was a genius.
Thanks to being s christian scientist he refused to take care of himself and see a doctor I am so angry at him I am way older than he was when he died . I remember the first episode I watched it till 2014 believe it or not no shame here
Thank you for this rare and incredible video! Jim was an extraordinary man and ahead of his time. Too bad it was so short. Men Don’t look after themselves when they’re so busy all the time. He cared more about others than himself!
I used to transpose black for green let us remember joe reposo also a genius he wrote my favorite song C is for cookie one year after green much bigger sales covered by hundreds
Someone wrote a script for a biopic several years ago, and some of it was leaked online, but it was quite disrespectful and made Jim seem like he was losing his sanity near the end of his life and hallucinating about the Muppets coming to life and haunting him. There was fan backlash, so the project was shot down.
