Me. I would always make way for the underdog. Yet he's been holding his own the whole time!!! I think when he wasn't rappen it he was rappen it and living it! 😚😁

"Im not here to make no issues of it The way we ball even the feds done took pictures of it. " Damn that bar hits so much harder now after the Tekashi case.
For those who don't know how Jimmy became the leader of a Blood sec out in Harlem, here it is. Jim Jones was a founding members of the most important gang in Harlem. They were the "Jelly belly shooters." They only wore purple and they owned most of harlem's drug trade. This was in the 90s. Then a member of the LA bloods named "Lil big foot" wanted to enter into Harlems drug market. So he approaced Jim and asked them if it would be okay if they sold drugs in Harlem. Jim said only on won condition which was he be made an the Crip leader on the east coast. The rest is history.

Who would of thought Jimmy would one-up Tekashi69 in trolling theatrics over the phone talking about super violations with the FED's listening only to drop his best rap work with the video! Dayum
I used to think when I was in my teens and 20s. what would my son think if i was in my older years still rapping .. these dudes are buggin... now I'm 37 and I still rap and my son is 16..... lol.... it is what it is.. rap and rhyming is a therapy. And ain't no Age On Therapy.....
Im 38 and I remember thinking the same thing. But we have to remember when we were coming up, 30 was considered "too old to be rapping". Rap was music for kids and teens. But now our generation (ppl who grew up on 90s music) have grown up with the culture. This is the music we grew up on. Thats what make it different. Could u imagine a 45 yr old putting out a rap album in the 90s? lol Today we get plenty of relevant hip hop music from rappers in thier 40s
Pretty much explained why I stopped for a long time since I didn't make it by 30. I turned 30 and was depressed as fuck I never made it thinking that I'm too old to be rapping. Took a year or two off and realized there's so many older rappers in the game and even though most of them made it by the time they were in their 20s, there's still some hot artists that didn't finally get recognition til they were in their 30s. I don't rap about gang life, but if you would like to check out some of my content I've been finally uploading to my channel on a regular basis in the last several months. I also produce a large majority of the tracks that write too so it's not like I'm just a "rapper" over here. I do it all! #MISTA808
Much respect to Jimmy..that king has been so consistent!! His bars has most definitely stepped up at this stage in his life!! I'm proud of that king!!!
