I'm happy to see this side of Jim. The "tough guy" persona was intimidating to me, even though I've never met him. Anger and hardness push people away, but intelligence and kindness draws them closer. I love this interview. It's good for people to know what you're capable of...if you have to be that guy, but that should be situational as opposed to everyday, everywhere and with everyone.

The one thing we don’t give enough rappers credit for is being intelligent. When we listening to interviews with Jim jones, styles p, nipsey hussle (rip) these guys are damn near geniuses. To have the business sense, street smarts and book smarts and put it all together to be successful in any field is what we do!! And it’s still one of the biggest fears of the establishment. Don’t forget that Jim had Game on Certified Gangsters and in the video before Aftermath featured Game in anything. Jim didn’t list Game in his list of discoveries, but he earned that one.

Game was signed to Dre for a while before he actually came out. He didnt know what to do with him so he put him with 50. Most likely Game was already with Aftermath when he was in that video. Jim didnt discover him.
