David Benavidez fighting style is like that of Antonio Margarito comes forward with pressure and doesn’t mind getting hit in order to get their shots in. Benavidez will struggle early like in the Caleb fight. If Andre can move well and keep it in the middle and not get stuck on the ropes he will most likely win. The Caleb fight exposed a lot of Benavidez weaknesses and holes in his game which is why a lot of guys are now willing to fight him and take the chance.

Saw Andrade fight a guy who wasn't on any of these guys levels. Dropped him in the first round, then outboxed him for next 11. Andrade either plays with his food, or his power diminishes quickly as the rounds go by. Would like to see Andrade finish guys who aren't on his level. Instead he seems content to let guys hang around.

I'm worried pressure is on Benavidez... he pushes the pace maybe too much and gets countered with a weird sweeping hook punch and knocks David's equilibrium off... Gonna be a good fight. Real test for David and/or gets DA right back in conversation

Well in bigger fights against undefeated opponents, offcourse there will be more pressure, but nothing that he can't handle. I'm not so impressed with Andrade, alltho as you say it is in theory possible for him to catch David "off guard" if he would be too aggressive, but still I got my confidence in him. I think the only one with a good answer to Benavidez's style would be Canelo, but then again he would probably change his style in that fight, rightly so since he has a much bigger reach. Imo David is the best of them all, highest potential, I think he beats Canelo, Bivol, Beterbiev if/when it would really come to happen. Great talent & his combination of speed, aggression & power is very hard to deter. Plant gave it a good try but got his ass beat. Alltho I think he did better against Canelo. Think Benavidez can win this one by stoppage too, but wouldn't be my money on that. It's gonna be 1. Benavidez on points 2. Benavidez by KO or, imo very unlikely, Andrade by KO.

Getting stopped by Benavidez will certainly shock a lot of people, just like when they were shocked when Fulton, Spence and Jermell lost. A PBC fighter who fights something else than in house fights is gona lose. No more protection, which results in guys who are not ready, but have enough big mouths to make believers believe. but when the bell rings, you can throw their speech out of the window.

Andre should do what hagler did against hearns: Once that bell rings he has to jump on him with his biggest right hand ever and force Benavidez to go backwards. Fight him on the inside, bully him, push him to the ropes, stay on his chest...Benavidez has never experienced that and wont know how to react. he will probably throw uppercuts to defend himself and thats it...he doesnt have the legs or defense to do much more....think about it, bena has been training for 4 months to hunt the guy down, to close up the ring, to go after him etc. what happens when this changes? how will his muscle memory respond? Benavidez also believes he is stronger *everyone repeats this to him, but he is nothing but a cruiserwieght dude fighting in the wrong division... andrade is bigger than plant and could be physically stronger pound for pound.

The biggest misconception is that you have to "run" from a pressure/volume fighter. I believe that the best way to fight a high volume fighter is to sit in the pocket, attack when the volume puncher throws his combinations, and smother their offense. A volume fighter doesn't EXPECT punches coming back towards them when they unload their offense. The volume puncher expects the opponent to just stand there and allow them to attack. Terence Crawford threw punches in between Errol's combinations. Also, go to the body because the high guard leaves the belly/body open for attack. The body work, smother defense, and offense by Andrade IN-BETWEEN David's combinations can take some steam away from Benavidez.

I'm picking Booboo Andrade to convincingly win a unanimous decision over David......I'm on record for in fact he supposed to win. He has all the skills, a good chin , great endurance, south paw and never been hurt. David is basic pressure and come forward. That type of fighter is easy for a Booboo type fighter..

This is why I watch this channel great interviews with real substance! I must say, Jim shocked me! Did anyone just hear what he said or am I losing my mind. Pay attention to what he said! I really think no one really herd what he just said about his friend in HBO. This may actually be why Canelo will NOT fight Benavidez, that my be the answer. Jim knows people in the industry, and if he is correct or his insinuation is accurate - Canelo may be compelled by the powers above all NOT to touch Benavidez- What Jim said should have just shocked the Boxing World - Incredible! If what he just said, and I have no reason to doubt him, is accurate...there will be no Benavidez and Canelo fight. It seems that Benavidez may go to heavyweight after this fight. Canelo will be forced by the elite powers to make a different move, even though he is on top....this is very EYE opening!!

Oh no. Fighters are scared to fight other fighters but the fear sometimes is for different reasons. You have "fear" in the sense that you're worried that the other fighter is going to kick your ass (Tyson vs Sphinx) or you just fear taking a loss, not so much the fighter (Stevenson vs Cruz). Fighters are scared of other fighters but you have to look at it on a case by case basis. And in large part, most are not scared at all.

Jim Lampley is something else man😂 That’s the same guy that was making it sound like Chavez was hurt against Melrick Taylor.I mean look at those two guys faces after that fight. I challenge anybody in this whole world to tell me which round and how many seconds into that round where Chavez was woozy, or hurt ,Lampley is a joke. Not even professional enough to give a fighter his dues, a professional would not be biased and would call it like it is and not let his personal feelings be so obvious. Who better to commentate a fight than an ex-fighter like George Foreman. This is where your wrong Mr. Lampley. DB has the better offensive game. He scores in a chess match. Andrade can not do the things DB can. In this fight he’s limited. He will hold. He will run. DB will control the whole fight. Get up in the scorecards and eventually stop Andrade IF he actually fights and doesn’t run. Andrade can choose not to engage and make a very boring fight.

I disagree with you. If Andrade starts to tire, he will become even more evasive and elusive. He will lower his activity rate by pop shooting and moving. I can tell you are trying to compare him to Caleb Plant. You've forgotten that Caleb had already been knocked out. He didn't have the same confidence as an undefeated champion.

Andrade has a much higher step up to make than Benavidez. This guy is way bigger, stronger, more skillfull and meaner than anyone BooBoo has ever seen in the ring. And he has much more punch output. So Andrade has to hurt Benavidez early, or he will be worn out.
