Although I love Jim Parson but I would never understand how did he win against Steve Carell that too after Steve's final season as Michael Scott. Damn, my man got robbed.
@Hannah Michael Scott easy?? Steve Carell made it seem easy which only proves how much he deserved one! Michael had so many layers and Steve did a phenomenal job. Nobody has such a comedic time and inprof. Tbbt is scripted but what they did at the office goes way beyond that. I'm not saying Jim isn't good or didn't deserved it. But imo Steve earned it.

@@jsmithers.well its ok not to share the same opinion. But thinking Micheal Scott is a easy character to play is not ok. But everyone who thinks its easy is actualy saying that Steve Carell is a great Actor who can make a complecated character seem easy. ;)
Why do ppl have to make a big deal if someone is gay??? Focus on ur own life if u have that big a problem with it maybe its cause u find it appealing and don't want to admit it to yourself.
This should have gone to Steve Carell, but they gave it to Parsons, as I feel BBT was getting really, really popular at this point, so because of that I think that's why he won over Carell. But that's just a thought I had, who knows why Carell never won an Emmy. He deserved at least one for his work on The Office.
Carrell was on his way out of The Office at this point and really hadnt done his best work that year. Jim on the other hand hasnt had a single mediocre episode. His nomination and especially his win was more than well deserved. I do love Steve but his last season he was getting a bit stale and tired of it all and it very much showed.
Jameson Taylor he was awesome in the finale, but I think they shoulda given it to him out of respect bc he deserved at least one Emmy for the office bc the office is a sitcom masterpiece
Jameson Taylor well the episode he was nominated for was the episode Goodbye Michael, which I would say was his best performance on the Office. If anything, he should have won for that episode alone.
A lot pf people think steve should have won the award As a show the office is definitely better than TBBT and steve definitely did a complete justice to the charcter of michael scott but as i watched tbbt recently i was in awe with jim parsons how he played shledon even tho TBBT has its issues as a show Sheldon is a harder character to play in my opinion ..and one of the reasons the amount of technical lines including all scientfic and historical facts he used to deliver so effortlessly in each episode .it was genuinely really hard ...he was so damn perfect in evry scene And also i am a huge fan of the office and i love it because how so many characters contribute to the show thats why i was able to continue after season 7 when steve left ...but i think it one of the weaknesses of TBBT how much the show just depend on the character sheldon played by jim ,i would have never watched the show without sheldon ,for me he carried the whole show
@Hannah Rushton a lot of junk is popular. Both the Big Bang Theory and Friends are C grade comedy shows with the kind of broad humor only dumb people like. Those are the people who need a laugh track to tell them when to laugh. And since when does the educational qualification of an actor have anything to do with their acting?
It was so impressive what they did at the office. The writting was incredibly and groundbreaking. The cast were the best in there field. That group of people could switch from script to inprof and back without you noticing. Its unbelievable that non of them ever won a Emmy. I'm not saying he should have won this year but at yes he should have.
