Jim Rodgers, The Bowl Gouge, Part 1 

This is an absolutely wonderful series for beginners. I like your 101 and 201 series too, but I like this series the best. I'm using it, step by step, with my daughter who is in her 20s and is a bit timid about working around machinery. We love the slow, safe pace of this series and the types of cuts that it demonstrates. The teaching aides that you use are so helpful to understanding how to present the tool.
