Jim's computer become popular because it was the first REAL physcological horror game on roblox. There isn't much forced lore so people can chat about the story more. Jim is an unknown protagonist so you can make him as relatable as you want. It used the retro style, which had never been done before.

I love how they showed the weight of the weapons, like with the sword when you hit someone it slows down then speeds up, as if you were cleaving through the flesh
I have a theory that this is a alternate universe where the chemical spill was causing the disappearances and they turned to mutants and found Jim’s house
I played the game completely differently, instead of defending my home from the various enemies, I would sprint outside and go ham, (I'd go back in for upgrades) also I didn't even know it was possible to repair the boards.

i was able to beat it first try solely relying on shotgun, keeping ammo high enough on shotgun (like 70-80 shells per round), and staying inside. I think playing outside is way too risky since you get closer range but hit more often, whereas the windows serve as a protection since they hit that and not you.
i love the fact that when you were asking like “who do you watch while eating food?” was said while i was eating food cause normally i don’t eat while watching certain videos and yet you manage to call me out on the one day i do 😭
to be honest, considering the entirety of jim's computer story lead up to the thought of a zombie apocalypse happening.. im not too shocked that they made this for an april fools, lol.
This might seem hard, but it's surprisingly simple. I'll also make a video on this soon And heres a few tips - Equipping the sword slows you down a bit, normally you'd be faster than the normals, but the sword slows you down and makes you a bit slower than them, don't switch to sword at close distances, especially if a runner is coming at you. - Headshots, normally, it would take 4 hits to kill a runner with a pistol and 7 hits to kill a normal with the pistol, but it takes 2 headshots to kill a runner and 5 for a normal. - Shotgun also slows you down, but the slowing is barely noticeable, and you're still able to outrun normals for the most part. - Shop, in the shop, the only things you should be getting are the shotgun and sword, then start saving up for the radio, or whatever that is. You do NOT need bombs or ammo. (the monsters drop both pretty often) - As for the "healthbar," you will see the edges of your screen get bloodier every time you get hit, I'm not entirely sure about this, but I'm pretty sure it takes 3 hits to die, this regens over time so don't worry too much. - Also, DO NOT stay inside your house, I'd recommend going into a corner of the map and just gunning/stabbing the monsters from there, usually a corner to the right or left of your door when you go outside, this also saves your barricades and windows for later if you end up needing them later on. If you do feel like it though, you can go back inside.
My idea of this ending : The banging are the employees that were "infected" by a strange chemical, as said in the 1st game. And when he prepares and it's showed to be a gun at night the employees attempt to get in and he thing of "OOFING" himself with the gun but decides to fight back and try to escape.
