Thank you for beautiful video. I was first time in USA two months ago, in NYC and in Jersey City. I love this country. Pennsylvania is on my bucket list. ❤
Oh Sifat, you do need to go back here, two days, want to see inside some of the restaurants, what you eat, this town is amazing. Thank you for the tour.
The town has no history in itself and Jim Thorpe has nothing to do with this town since Jim Thorpe was born In Oklahoma but lived and died in California. Jim Thorpe has never been there either But at least the town did a good thing in creating his memorial.
Jim Thorpe is a small poor town with run-down old homes that has interesting architecture is about it. The train ride is ok but no real scenic route other than being between the mountain and the river....you'll get more scenery just driving there, The train ride is 23 minutes in one direction then hits reverse and your'll see the same sight again on your way back, its a good money machine considering this place has nothing original about Jim Thorpe since he has never been there most likely. It looks nothing like Switzerland nor Europe and has no connection to Jim Thorpe. the good thing is that the town agreed in building him a memorial for him. that is quite thankful in credit for the town,
