I am practicing for deer season here in the northern states. Season opener about 6.5 months away. When I shoot my new ILF Recurve limbs I'm getting different results on bare shafts if I don’t hit my release point. But it's kinda cold here & I think your 60# @ 28" is similar to what I shot 30 years ago. It was custom & 65# @ 30". I couldn't even string that bow today. 😢🎉😂
It appears you’re shooting instinctively. I am an instinctive shooter. I believe it takes more practice to maintain this style over gap aiming. Never was a fan of aiming with my longbows. Like throwing a ball- no aiming involved. Purely instinctive. Bow hunting isn’t about score. It’s about hitting the kill zone. 👍👍🏹
