Mick Taylor was highly underrated, mastermind behind plenty of the Stones' hits. I always loved the way his clean style complemented Richards dirty blues tone
Do not think like that. Impossible. We must be grateful for what Jimi gave us. He was so gifted and giving. I still think Michael Jeffries had Jimi murdered.
@@thomaspick4123 Sadly, Hendrix dead was easier to "control" and profit off of. His words in Somewhere, one of the last compositions he was working on, and had yet to "finish/master" echo eerily this reality, in what sounds almost like a premonition "Back in the saloon my tears mix and mildew with my drink I can't really tell my feet from the sawdust on the floor But as far as I know, they may even try To wrap me up in cellophane and try and sell me Brother sell me, and don't worry about lookin' at the score Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah" 😢
Disagree. It's generally believed that his last recording was called Slow Blues, an impromptu studio jam less than a month before he died. It's slow and funky. One of my fav Hendrix songs and I've been listening to him for over 50 years. It's not longer than 1:46 seconds and it can be found on The Jimi Hendrix Box set.
When I first heard this I was impressed by the drumming. I really can't see there being too much drumming, but for the folk guitar purists I can see their point. It's good for me though ! 👍
Hendrix, hell yes. Never felt Stills was that creative before listening to Supersession with Mike Bloomfield and Al Cooper, Harvey Brooks and Eddie Hoh drummin'. Listen next time ya burn one.
@andremendes4819 Stephen Stils had a formal education in music, and Hendrix had none. If you listen to the recordings of both artists at that time, you can tell the difference.
Hendrix and Edward Van Halen playing together now that would have been really something to see and hear if Hendrix would have lived another 7 years I'll bet that would have happened and more than once..
