We spoke with the Jimi IoT team and this is what they told us: Regarding the error you mention about SMS commands (Where#, URL#, Position#, 123#) not responding when there is no GPS solution; We recommend the following steps: 1) Make sure with your local carrier or manufacturer that the device has the latest firmware installed. 2) If possible, move the vehicle to an open area to acquire a GPS position before sending commands. 3) If necessary, you can contact the manufacturer directly for dedicated technical support. There you will be assigned an account manager to help you. Please note that the video is almost a year old and there are more recent and suitable solutions for anti-theft scenarios.
