Shinee and BTS have always been friends. Taemin is currently completing his mandatory military service. I hope his mental health is well. Jimin appeared in his first 2022 Vlive (after Covid quarantine and appendicitis surgery) a few hours ago today, he's so cute and healthy with new haircut.

Jimin even is part of a quite close group of 6 other idols from other groups started by Taemin, called the Padding Squad, which consists of other main dancers Taemin & Kai, but also Sungwoon, another of Jimin's closest friends. They even have matching 'padding' jackets each with the emblem consisting of ea members hand print made into a circle, on a 'padding jacket.

SHINee never supposed to disband and they're still very active, their albums are still successful, they're winning music shows, they have concerts on big stadiums. If there's one group that will never disband as long as they can perform together - it's them. They have the strongest bond with each other and with their fans. They were on 2-year hiatus because 3 of the members were in the military, in 2021 they had 3 comebacks and 2 albums, and after that Taemin went to the military, so now they're doing their solo activities (every member is also a soloist) Taemin is 28 y.o Jimin became Taemin's friend in 2016, Jimin was his fan so their mutual friend Sungwoon introduced them. And then Jimin became a member of Padding squad and friends with EXO's Kai as well. Padding squad at that time included Kai, Taemin, Sungwoon, Ravi, Timoteo, and their non-celeb friend.This group of friends was formed long before Jimin joined them (like in 2008-2009) by their non-celeb friend I believe. Originally it was Timoteo, Kai, Taemin and non-celeb friend. Ravi and Sungwoon also joined a bit later

Trainees and rookie idols as well as other idols themselves always try to emulate his moves, stage presence, his vocal technique that all basically have yet been able to duplicate! Even vocal coaches are always blown away by his amazing so unique voice, as well as dancers watching him perform!!
