This wasn't actually the only time he was on Jim'll Fix It. Someone asked Jim to get Cliff and The Shadows back together and they appeared together on the show. I know because I was on the bean bags ;-)
Fantastic bit of TV, Cliff pleasing a fan. Must have been a magic moment and surreal for this lady and her little daughter. Love Cliff, great vocalist and performer.

How staged..obviously the production crew planted the work tent there (there wasn't even any roadworks taking place ! ), and Cliff's Rolls was parked just round the corner waiting for the cue from the director !

He isn't. But Saville was a Nonce. People assume thet Cliff was one too. He's really not . He's actually quite a nice man. And very good with fans. Saw him at a hotel in New Zealand. I was there for a historic rally race. Got in a elevator with this group of people. Mostly big security types. And he was just chatting with another person who'd got on before me. I was like that's Cliff Richard... He said hello to me. Before I got to my floor. He was very pleasant. And I'm not really a fan but my aunt's are. I must have been a sight. In my driving suit with helmet hair. God knows what he thought.
