At 3:50, after Jimmie's solo, Bonnie slinks up to the Mic in time! She is a great musician and gets my vote as the coolest chick ever to strap on a guitar...also...around 1:48 she's playing and looks directly into the camera, standing her ground. Yeah! cold shower time.
Love the three stop ending. Bonnie, you are supreme as usual on slide, and Jimmy is still bringing East Texas with him at all times. May you all keep layin" it down another 50 years!
God, I've been waiting years to hear this again - thanks so much for uploading it! As I recall it was pretty much impromptu and added to the show rather quickly for some reason.
So good…I know Jimmie and Bonnie have collaborated a few times, but I still want them to record an album together. The king and queen of cool. With Jools Holland, this couldn’t sound any better.
Looks like it's her regular band members at the time (the guy on keyboards trading off with Jools, the drummer and the woman on the congas were for sure - don't see her regular guitarist; Jimmy may have sat in for him) Can't see the bassist in this.
Yes it was mostly Bonnie Raitt's band, Jimmie Vaughan and Jools Holland joined. You can see the Jimmie and Bonnie ith their own bands on this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-u3HS1mxrZcI.html Jimmie wasn't anymore with the Fabulous Thunderbirds then
