He wouldn’t do any good in these live tv singing fiascos. The judges don’t play rock and never give a rock singer any real credit.......unless they are wishy washy and at the pop end of rock. A soul voice can score well but not a bluesy rock voice. He wouldn’t get past the auditions. Even when the twins were judging ( sweet or good Charlotte ) .... even they did not give enough credit to the rock singers....... These shows are all about Pop and radio friendly.
Jimmy also has a softer voice...... a sweet rock voice he normally sings this song with.... and sometimes heard in harder songs as well. Not his best performance here..... I think he started too hard and then had to back up vocally ..... and wasn’t able to Finnish the song as he wanted to. Watch and listen to the original video or a live version from Cold Chisel ..... they are magic.
