Anyone who is listening to this in 2022 is a legend. One of Barnesy's bests. Frothing over a young Johnny Diesel (Mark Lizotte) on the guitar and backing vocals ❤️
@@georgialynch5631 Hi, did you mean Jonathan Cain, of The Babys and Journey? If so, did he co-write with Jimmy, or produce some of his records? I’m ignorant of Jimmy’s career except this album. Regards, Jim K in Nashville
"I'm not reaching out for you in the night"..... this is like the middle finger to any Ex haha. This whole song is about about saying 'Go F yourself" after a break up, life moves forward and so will you.
Love this song sooooo much! I had Freight Train Heart constantly playing on my Walkman back in the day. Pretty sure Joe Lynn Turner was on backing vocals for this too! ...I think...🤘
I was at this gig. The Sydney Royal Easter Show had some great acts play in the mid-80s: Jimmy Barnes, Johnny Diesel and the Injectors, Noiseworks, Boom Crash Opera. Great memories.
For those of you that say Jimmy can’t sing,he can only scream. You obviously not listened to this song and many others. Oh he can sing alright. Hope you are still doing well Jimmy.🇦🇺❤️😘
I know Mark Lizette, Dave Amant and Neal Schon were involved on guitar this album , but who is that drummer? He's got Bonzo's forcefulness! What a player! Anyone know who did drums for "Freight Train Heart" album?
On this song and "Walk On" the drummer was Jerry Marotta, John McCurry played guitar, Gregg Mangiafico played keyboards, and I played bass. There may be other musicians that I don't know about. The rest of the album was a different band.
