My parents used to have this album when I was a kid. I was raised on good music like this. I especially like the instrumental of this song. On the album I think it was like 3 versions of this song if I'm not mistaken. I also thought that KC of KC and the Sunshine Band wrote this. Good music has no color, man...Good music is good music.

I first watched the video clip of this song on TV in June or July 1978 and it was always in my mind, but I didn't pay attention to the name of the song and who sang it because I was only 20 that year and our fastest disco soul and funk years were and there were a lot of video clips on TV. and I thought this song was a part of k.c and the sunshine band and many years passed like this. Then I searched on google and you tube with the name of k.c and the sunshine band and other bands but I couldn't find it. Finally, I came across this song by chance on you tube yesterday. and i found out it was jimmy bo horne and i said ok that's the guy because he's the same guy i saw in the video clip back in 1978..... I've been in love with this song since 1978, just like I've been in love with k.c and the sunshine band since the 70's

Who remembers a club called *"Dance Your Ass Off" in downtown San Diego, in the late '70s? I haunted it back then, & this was a song that never failed to get us rocking out. The floor would be so packed in seconds that we could barely breathe, let alone dance... Good times, y'all. (*I plan to haunt it in the Afterlife, too, if I can find it.)

Qd chegava na disco e tocava essa balada era uma loucura a pista era invadida. Mansão fender kaskatas entre outras. Só quem viveu pode entender o poder de uma música pra essa geração entre tantas essa.
