He grew up in Mobile Alabama, & Fairhope Ala right beside Gulf z shores Alabama. Their is a restaurant in Mobile ala that’s called Dew Drop Inn served those cheeseburgers he loved, an wrote that song about. We will miss him truly, he always came back home from time to time!

I came to watch this video because I was blue. This concert brings such a smile to my face. But now I am weeping because of Jimmy's passing. He knew how to make this world a happier place to live. Thank you Jimmy!
I LOVE this! 09 my family took our last family vacation w/my Mom before lost her to cancer-Yep we went to Gulf Shores, AL and we were told YOU HAFTA GO TO JIMMY SISTER'S RESTURANT! We did-Lil' expensive but we had a GREAT time and I can tell this concert wasn't far from her resturant so I LOVE seeing this and thinking about that GREAT memory I have of my family and my Mom!
The Gulf Shores Alabama area was actually where Jimmy Buffet was raised. He was born in Missisippi but moved here at an early age. His sister has a very popular restaurant in Gulf Shores. It is called Lulu's. It is very popular with tourist.

Jimmy Buffet surely enjoyed what he did and made sure that millions of others had fun. His island escapist lifestyle struck a chord with so many people who like to eat, drink and lsiten to his music in the sunshine, on a beach with palm trees around. Top man. R.I.P.

If there is a better recording or video of a concert please do tell. This is the concert that Jimmy and the coral reef band left for us to enjoy until our end. In one word it's "PHENOMINAL".
