@@SRT_DRE This is definitely true. In both games no one is commenting on how obviously they were trying to help the bucks. Which is so aggravating. Like its not enough that they gotta outplay the bucks, they gotta beat the refs too?
man it genuinely is refreshing that somebody actually decided to talk about how good the Heat played as opposed to how badly the Bucks choked. nobody wants to give the team props for elevating their play throughout the roster, top to bottom. and genuinely every single role player had a key moment in this series. so thank you. this was nice to hear.

Thank you for actually highlighting Bam defense on Giannis in the 4th and OT. You are the person to do that. I have never seen a player do that to Giannis one on one just out right stop him.
The injury played a factor though credit to bams defense but in the regular season when Gianni’s was matched up against bam bam got abused and couldn’t guard Gianni’s 1v 1 going to the rack. Giannis was overcompensating certain movements that he normally could do just to avoid hurting his back even more. He didn’t play with the same conviction going to the basket that we normally see with him
@@georgegountanis6525 tbh if he is on the court the injury is not an excuse he had 38 and 20 and was stopped in 4th and OT by Bam. We aren’t to discredit Bam performance nice try though.

Other than Herro being out, this is the same ensemble that led the regular season in 3pt% last year. This regular season got a little weird at times, especially early, but they were much improved toward the end of the season. The point is -- their great shooting now is probably less surprising than the poor regular season shooting was. They are the same players.

Great video. i really love that you talked about Bam's elite defense on Giannis and Spo's brilliant adjustment at the end of the 4th to make Bam the point- it caught the Bucks off guard and probably saved Jimmy some energy from not having to be on ball and bully his way in the paint I've watched Jimmy since his Bulls days and saw him drop 50 multiple times there but even I'm still in shock by this series. The man dropped 98 points in a 2 game period against 3 of the best defenders in the league! It's absurd.
Sabonis needs to take a note from Bam and the heats attack of drop coverage. Looney gives Sabonis WIDE open space to shoot from midrange. Once Looney has to guard Sabonis the Kings can have a chance to win. Sabonis actions, including him shooting mid range shots will open up the Kings disgusting offense (in the series alone).
The Brook Lopez baiting by Bam was actually one of the most genius strats I've ever witnessed. It all makes so much more sense now why Bam is the playmaker every now and then. And he plays the role VERY well. I hope to see him play more like Jokic in the future and I hope this Miami team sticks together because they are very fun to watch.
Since the team I support wasn't in the playoffs (Bulls), I really didn't mind whichever team came out of this series. I'm a huge fan of both Giannis and Butler so it was hard to root for either one so I'm not going against the Heat when I say this, I say this as a fan of Giannis. Which is that knowing how hard he works and how obsessive he is, I hope he takes this series as motivation to really work on his weaknesses on offense. Granted he was injured but I felt like the series could have gone either way had the Bucks realized that drop wasn't working earlier. Plus the final possession of both the 4Q and OT when no one on the Bucks staff thought to call timeout, not sure WTF happened there lol. In saying all that though, I really do want the Heat to make another run for the finals. It's been an absolute delight watching Himmy go into playoff mode.
With the way Bucks defense operate, there's alway gonna be open 3s. Brook always drops so involve him in some way and you can move to free up the shooter you want. You just need to knock them down.
They shot that well because the drop coverage. It’s not an aberration; if you give an nba team open 3’s nowadays they’re going to hit at a high clip. And once you let shooters get comfortable for a couple looks, the basket starts looking real big even on contested shots
