@@ricardohuard1171 he reminds me so much of reggie miller in that regard, reggie wasn’t ever a superstar just another “pretty good guy” but he turned up to superstar level every playoffs. Too bad those pacers teams never had a chance even in 2000
188 is completely crazy. I looked up what the record for a 5 game series was. Unsurprisingly it’s MJ, scoring 226 on the Cavs in 88. That’s 45.2 PPG, so wild.
All the odds are against them, dont think an 8th or even a 7th seed has ever won in the finals. I hope jimmy g makes it happen tho, I believe in the almighty jimvp
@@curtiscaudill9214 I think the '99 Knicks are the only 8th seed to make it to the Finals and they lost to the Spurs. Jimmy would make Finals history if he pulled it off this year! That would be INSANE!!!!
@@bigdawg4883 look at his team 💀. Give him Lebron's teams from the past, Giannis' teams, Curry's teams, Tatum's teams, KD's teams, and see what happens. Man took lebron to 6 games in the finals in 2020, came 1 shot away from the finals last year, and cooked the bucks this year with a team of mostly undrafted nobodies and no other star players
I think Jrue's D was actually really good - it just wasn't enough on it's own. Jimmy just too big / strong / skilled. He was a bit of a mess on the other end, though...
Umm…with one-handed shot to send it to overtime to the stare down on one of the better defenders in the game after he put him in the spin cycle. This man is channeling MJ rn. Straight KILLER
Looking back at this series, the bucks didn't even play that bad. Jimmy Butler just played out of his mind. Hunting every single match up no matter who you put on him. Making tough shots consistently. Insane!
I first took notice of butler in chicago. Even though not a bulls fan i appreciated how he worked his way up to be the star of the group. Then noticed his impact. Even watched timberwolves more when he was there
He literally bullied and torchered Drue Holiday this series! This was a bloodbath.....on a great defender! The best series performance in recent memory. Everyone should love Jimmy Buckets!!!
One of the best videos on youtube, just beautiful. I can't believe there were as many people as there were who denied Butler's HOF inevitability up to this point. I would hope that they've wised up after this all-time great series.
You post a 20 minute video on him yet I have to watch him on nba tv l. He deserves to be on national television, shame on you nba for your poor scheduling of the games and your relegation of the best player so far to local channels.
I just want everyone to know the term "bubble frauds" never made sense. You give them no offseason. They are hurt tired when the season start make the playoffs in that same condition and they are labeled "Frauds" JIMMY AND THE HEAT GOT THEIR OFFSEASON REST AND ELIMINATED THE 1 SEED!
The Jimmy-Heat era goes like this 2020: Finals run in bubble, loss to LeBron Lakers 2021: First round loss to champion Bucks 2022: Near comeback in Game 7 of the ECF against Celtics 2023: First round upset of #1 seed Bucks In that stretch they’ve punked every relevant East team of that stretch (Bucks, Celts, Sixers, Hawks). Seems like the outlier here isn’t the bubble, but the year AFTER the bubble with no offseason and no time to recover injured guys
@@jackjax7921 Here’s the difference tho. When the Lakers lost to my Suns ‘21, they overreacted and thought their own team was bubble frauds in a way, and gave it all up for Russ, yada yada AD’s hurt we know the rest. Now we’re seeing them with a similar level of talent and they’re back in the mix to win it all. Shocking. Almost like 2020, fans or no fans, had actual basketball games played by real NBA players at max intensity and all the results were completely plausible
that was the main thing ppl noticed, he redid that pull up 3 that he missed last playoffs like 5 different times and banged it every time it was insane
Love Butler! Hes so low key effective and efficient! Not as flashy as the other superstars, but hes really this super elite two way player we all kinda overlook.
Kobe soul goes to Jimmy Butler...So, he can play like Kobe...Imagine he tied for overtime and HE MADE IT through...BEST EVER Team that beat the #1 by #8 seed, amazing...GOOD JOB Miami Heat. Keep it up, and you might have a chance for the Final. 👍💪💥
Bro that performance in this series is the greatest single handed performance consistently I ever watched he is the best playoff player I have ever witnessed
Playing Winning Basketball. Everyone talks about Luka Dončić give me a player who plays defense, makes everyone better and still can get his shot at will. That's Jimmy Buckets.
The Cavs now know what Kevin Love can do in offense of how to attract bigman going outside threepoint line bcoz of his outside shooting giving Butler opportunity to penetrate inside the lane
I can see Miami heats the number one contender for the NBA championship this year because of his phenomenal performance what a talent! ... He deserves MVP
Agree. Herro should not be a starter but a 6th man. The reason why heat struggled in regular season is they don't have bench production anymore since herro moved to starter.
@@tatteredprince2097 Agree with Herro off the bench - I think there's usage distribution issues that it solves. I also think it might have something to do with our shooters being off this year, since the Herro possessions took over some of the off-ball stuff we did in previous seasons. That said, I wonder if Herro would take that move well (if the Heat would even attempt it). That scares me a little.
@@somacat78 we in the chip with him on the bench with Lowry gives us two guards who match match up. With any over team 2 guards second units. Which actually stabilizes us with Zeller, Martin ; and high smith or Robinson or Love Or Bam while Jimmy Rest. Our offense and 3 will always be a threat and our defense is still aggressive. The only team I see better than us shooting like is Denver. We have no answer for Jokic.
