Really good interviewer. People are bashing her because she wanted to keep to a time schedule, and yeah, I agree that the conversation with the audience would have been a bit more natural with only him and them, but I must say as an interviewer, she really did this right, asked the right questions, and was a part of leading Jimmy in neat places.
This is why I have no friends. No one makes me laugh like me. That and the fact I'm a twat. Props to Jimmy for having such insight. He sounds like a great guy.
Much respect for his commitment and real talent. Love his work! I pity what he says he was taught about why God and religion exists. I’d love to have a conversation with him about that.
Such a preformer. Clearly star struck journalist gets a bit akward and he just guides it along, being so generous and really giving people a good time. I love his way with kids also, not shying away one inch from being redicoulously rude and foul mothed, knowing that they've heard it before and treating them as grown ups.

The most offensive jokes Jimmy Carr has are jokes involving pedophilia. There is absolutely nothing funny about that, It's not offensive, it's downright disturbing.

Between this and the China Exchange interview, it seems like Jimmy is given poor interviewers. This woman keeps cutting him off, not understanding when he is building to a punchline, and constantly says "yeah" or "mhm" as he speaks. The first is frustrating and the latter was distracting.
I'm curious to what his religion was to know why he had an opinion like that. Not saying he can't have his own but let's say may religion is nothing like he described so I have a genuine interest is what he was taught in his religion
She had no control over the interview, Jimmy picked up on this very quickly and actually drove the interview. If she had to interview someone that was not as quick and sharp to handle social situations as Jimmy was, it would have been a massive fail.

Not all of us spent our early 20s "waiting for something to happen". A lot of us, myself included, took the bull by the horns and went out into the big wide world and made things happen. And we didn't have to find a scapegoat. I want to be clear, I'm a big fan of his, but that instant hatred of religion is a bit much for me to understand or relate to. I'm not even that religious myself. I just don't blame God for what hasn't gone right up to a certain point, that's all. This could be about Ricky Gervais, as well.
I still think that shock value/intentionally offensive jokes are the lowest form of wit. It’s not that the joke is well constructed, it’s just the sheer shock that causes gasping in an audience. It’s manipulative and speaks to the lack of talent in the comedian
the woman interviewing jimmy has too much distracting stuff on her face, otherwise she's an 9/10 interviewer. less glasses and lapel mic, boom mic, i don't care.
