There's another popular and VERY camp comedian over here called Alan Carr with his own TV show. Some hecklers allude that they are brothers and Jimmy goes along with it.
Pretty milktoast and tame. The only people who thinks he's brutal are the same people who watch Married with Children clips on RU-vid and cry in the comments section about how you can't show this on TV anymore.

There was a show in the UK called "Educating Yorkshire" based in a really rough part of England. This looked at the trials and tribulations of teachers and students at a local comprehensive. Anyways, the most heart warming part, is a teacher helping a young student overcome a speech impediment for an oral exam. Most of it done outside class time. The video/montage is 5 minutes long and is called "Musharaf finds his voice. Educating Yorkshire". Comprehensive Schools are non-selective state funded schools. The alternative is Grammar Schools, which are state funded but are selective based on an exam called the 11+
@@rosa32 I ashamedly didn't watch the show, but the Gogglebox reaction to it - which I suppose made it even more heart warming. They were in absolute tears - especially the Welsh Gentleman who sadly passed away a few years back...who was himself a teacher
@k2411871 I'm a teacher too. Everyone wants to be the teacher who makes a difference. It's definitely worth a watch if you can find it. That season was the best.
I saw Jimmy just before lockdown in Portsmouth. There was a bloke who just wouldn’t stop shouting out. In the end Jimmy eviscerated him, the geezer stormed out to thousands of jeers and claps. Brutal, but hilarious.
Good Reaction Guys. By coincidence there are two famous English comedians named "Carr", the other being the very popular Allan Carr, who is a lovely, Gay Guy hence THe "Dad" jokes as opposed to the "Mum" ones. The main part was filmed in Glasgow, Scotland which used to be the graveyard of English comedians because if you were not funny, you then faced a torrent of abuse and if you WERE funny then you left to the sound of your own footsteps leaving the stage but that meant they liked you. Many English comics 30/40 years ago never returned.. The last part was filmed in my London where many English people have moved just outside of to the aforementioned "Sevenoaks" and "Dartford" both in , nearby,Kent.
Yeah it's part of the fun, part of the stand-up culture, and definitely part of his act. If Jimmy had a show and no one heckled him, he'd be terribly disappointed and think his show went poorly.
Alan Carr is a famous gay comedian from England and people are always joking that they're brothers. I went to see a Jimmy Carr gig in Oxford, he met everyone in the bar afterwards and was really cool and had a quick witty response to everyone.

Alan Carr is another comedian who coincidentally has thr same surname as Jimmy but not related even tho they have done shows together hes gay which explains some of those jokes Jimmy made about him

I'll save you some time, dont bother checking any Alan Carr videos, the man is simply not funny in the slightest. On a side note some people say jimmy looks a bit like the tennis player Federer.
