"Hear You Me" was written in tribute to the band's friends, who were big supporters of the band in their earliest days, and provided the Arizona-based band a place to stay while in Los Angeles.
The song has been featured in the films Out Cold, The Butterfly Effect, and A Cinderella Story, as well as the television series One Tree Hill.
