When the artist is in the perfect place, at the right time, with the right crowd, and with the right song. Magical. Jim Adkins is a TALENT. I feel lucky to have discovered his art at such an early age and to grow up with it. I think I first started listening to jimmy eat world when I was like 13 or something (in-between Clarity and Bleed American) and I'm 35 now. He's still coming out with new art. This is insane.
Jim Adkins is a genius and amazing musician. I now have a Gibson Les Paul Gold Top like he had on the Clarity album and I love that guitar more than most of my family members. Such an instrument of beauty.

he is one of my favourite singers because he is very accurate when it comes to pitch and has a strong but still very clear voice and he can walk that line between baritone and tenor. They are my favourite male voices. Elvis was the king of it where his voice can kind of do anything well be it low and bassy like Johnny Cash or mid and strong like John Lennon of high like Robert Plant. I LOVE MUSIC. JIMMY EAT WORLD don't get enough credit!!!
I love Jimmy Eat World. I'm a Blink-182 guy and would've picked this guy to replace Tom! That would have been so cool. Not happy how Blink turned out. There's an episode when Adkins asks Mark Hoppus (my favorite musician/composer/song writer) for advise on how to write music. Very interesting. Anyway this guy is very underrated.
@@chriskosch5127 yes he did! Adkins is now the guy I non stop listen to. For the last year I've been obsessed with JEW and Blink. Now I think things are balanced haha. Gonna go see blink in Los Angeles 2023
