Americans are so proud of the war of independence which happened nearly 250 years ago. I am 57 years old and I have never heard anyone in the UK ever talk about it. In the UK, we have recorded history that goes back to the Romans, roughly 2000 years ago. I have a building about 500 yards away from my home that was built before America was ruined by Christopher columbus. I won't say when discovered America because believe that native Americans were there thousands of years before he stumbled upon it by accident. Slavery, the nuclear bomb, crack cocaine and Donald Trump. All wonderful claims to fame from the United States. How anyone can laugh at any other country when your own is an absolute car crash.
