Thanks to Strike Force Five ⚡, I now know Jimmy did infact get all fixed up for the show. He hired a stylist and that outfit was super expensive. Just because of the name on the tag. Letterman just sees a T-shirt and jeans. Just goes to show you, sometimes you really are just paying for name.

When he first got SNL, a lot of people asked, "How did he get this show?" Then he got Late Night (Dave's old show), and a lot more people asked, "How did he get this show?" Then he got The Tonight Show, and even more people asked, "How did he get this show?" To many of us, Jimmy Fallon's entire career is a conundrum.

Does anybody remember when Jimmy did an Adam Sandler impression in front of an audience and suddenly Adam pops up on a large screen to confront him? I vaguely remember it being the early 2000's and may have been during an awards show. Adam pretended to cry and screamed something like, "THATS WHAT YOU THINK OF ME?!" I can't find a clip of it anywhere on the internet. Maybe I was so high back then and imagined it all but if anybody else remembers this please tell me where I can find a clip!

Wow, Dave was grilling him! But Fallon stepped up to the plate! Dave was impressed and even invited him back. Jimmy even got to guest host Dave show when he was recovering from bypass surgery.

@@jarrodbarkley9061 Back when Dave did an on air diatribe about the Conan/Leno fiasco, he was naming all the other talk show hosts and seemed to have trouble remembering Fallon's name so he referred to him as Lonnie Donegan. Lonnie Donegan was an English musician and has no connection to Fallon other than their names sounding vaguely similar.

Oh btw, why the peacock network ashamed of releasing Leno's iteration of Tonight Show on various platforms, including RU-vid? You’re not considering that he was just getting started and being on Letterman was a huge deal because it had consequences for your rise or fall as an entertainer. It’s a lot of pressure that would cause anyone to be super hyped up. Falcon’s a very animated guy as it is and it’s no surprise he was nervous and squirmy.

Here he is, the most annoying and cringe host of a television program in the history of the medium. Jimmy Fallon! Baffling how some people can find him tolerable enough to watch his show. I can barely make it watching a 5 minute clip of his interviews.
