When the lion scratches you and leaves marks that you must live with... Well, the only way you could prevent it from happening again is.. Cage it, and give it a cat liter
Geralt of Rivia Not sure if you really want me to tell you about it or if you're quoting that quote that means "i've experienced the same thing." LOOOL!
If there's even the slightest chance that Rick had an honourable mention in Jimmy's will you better believe he's going to be tossed out of it now.Or just left some brie cheese with a note that says worst wingman ever. I would've loved to have heard the phone call Jimmy had with Rick after the interview with Nicole...
She said it was a "hang", as in a feeling out the situation. He wasn't interested, and she could not feel any interest from him, hence she didn't make a move.
the actual moment when she was on his show was magic tho. its like the love that never was or would be. even tho they both are happily married, it had to have been a little chemistry there. you could tell she used to like him, and he probably (even tho hes happily married) feel some type of regret and happiness. like I said the show was magic.
***** well u know, its. Probably way pass a 50% chance that if u liked someone in the past and they still look the same, that you'll still feel some "likeness". But I suggest that they never make contact again. Feelings go a long way, and they're both married now, so its forbidden.
Not his fault that Ellen wanted him to tell the story...they should've just mentioned it like a funny interview that happened & told ppl to check it out if they haven't seen it or add smth. to it...like his friend's side of the story/how did they get to the video game... A better use of time would've been to ask stuff we didn't know about...a bit personal or about the changes the TS move brought vs LN or next week's shows from LA or the new TV show he produces Lip Sync Battle...
The audience consists mostly of housewives and middle-aged women. They barely know about RU-vid. yet alone spend time on it. That's why the rest of us have to sit through stories already told.
This wasn't the whole interview though, he also talked about his kids and his first year at the Tonight show (and other things)...especially since his last appearance on Ellen's show, he didn't think he'd even host the tonight show!
I love how a) he's doing an Australia accent for Nicole Kidman b) he's saying exactly what was said in the clip on his own channel (a sarcastic 'love')
+Hailee Wilkinson hey, if you had an experience like that you would, too! "What? I was on a date with such-and-such hot stuff and didn't know it!? jajfowihagojwrg!"
Haha. To be honest I wouldn't care. If im with someone it's cos I really think they are the absolute shit so not even a celeb would tempt me or get me all excited lol. Famous ppl are just ppl at the end of the day. I know more humans in my own world who I think are more incredible to be honest. Not dissing talent but it's just talent...We all have it.
+jose holanda Pinheiro Hmm... she has won three Golden Globe Awards, a British Academy Film Award and an Academy Award. She is the first Australian actress to win the Academy Award for Best Actress. I guess that not good enough for you. What do you achieve anyway?
I Don't Blame Jimmy At All, All us Men are like this , we don't get enough hints sometimes, or maybe he though she is out of his league, that why he didn't try enough to read her hints.
he's always going to have that what if in the back of his mind. he is forever screwed whenever he sees her. haha! poster boards, movies, shows, pictures, anything.
@Lea 2020 That probably won't matter. I mean sometimes you have to see relationships from a different perspective, and if a long, loving relationship eventually come to an end by separation, I think one should value the times they have spent together instead of pitying how such a long, loving relationship was given up.
I know he loves his wife, but I also know that he has to be thinking OMG...I could have been married to Nicole Kidman. I mean damn...anyone would think that if someone they believed so out of their league confessed they were really into them. Think they would have made a cute couple too...KNOW he would have made a better Darren on the Bewitched movie.
i feel like at 1:45 Ellen was genuinely laughing, like she usually has a smile on her face and looks interested bc it's what she's meant to do but this bit was so genuine i love her
Rick was the one who dropped the ball on this one. I had a similar thing happen at work where one of the reseptionists at my building where I did maintenance was single and lonely and wanted to hang out and my then boss suggested me and he passed over my number to her. She said to him not to say anything just in case she changes her mind. But Chris my boss and friend did what Rick should have and told me to be ready of a potential hook up with Jackie. That is what Rick should have done for Jimmy. Bros look out for each other, that's part of the code,
In Rick's defense - not that I know him! - she might have been right there, or might have told him to say it was just about a movie, whatever, when he called Jimmy. She was obviously nearby, so he had to be pretty careful about what he said, as I doubt she'd appreciate him telling Jimmy, "Dude, she's seriously hot for you!" - or whispering, which would have been equally bad.
Nicole said it was because she liked him, not because of a movie. It seems a stretch that she would beg someone not to say anything if she’s looking for a chance to hang out.
He replayed the interview almost. We want to hear exactly what happened when she got there... Best interview yet on Jimmy's show. Can you imagine. We are just loving this whole thing. Don't let it end. Please do a movie called....'Clueless in New York'. :D
This really says a lot about Nicole in a good way. She could have thrown herself on Jimmy at his apartment, but she’s too classy, sweet, and shy to do that. Makes me like her even more. This whole thing does make you wonder what could have been for them though.
It says a lot about Jimmy, as well. Dude was pretty handsome back then, but he was completely devoid of ego, never once thinking he had a chance. Most presumptuous toolbags in Hollywood would've been like, "Nice, I'll be alone with Nicole Kidman in my house, maybe I'll whip it out." Jimmy had more character than that.
I would never assume Nicole Kidman was into me either. He obviously needed some more explicit confirmation. lol If she told Rick, he fucked up big time. Also, why does he bring her over to his place? Maybe they should go out and talk and flirt and shit! Jesus!
Reminds me of this girl in my study hall back in H.S. who I would always catch looking my way the entire senior year. I didn't think nothing of it cause she was waaaay above my level. Seen her in my 20th reunion and she told me she really liked me and knew she had make the first move but wanted to wait til grad week. She was even planning on sending me flowers and a card as she was really into me. Lol I had no freaking idea. But I started my vacation early to see my grandma who was sick and didn't attend my graduation. So that was that. Went to ASU and just went on with life. We're both happily married at the time and that was 10 years ago. We kept in touch for a bit but just faded into history. Ahhh what coulda been.
Ellen, you're truly amazing. I admire you so much. You're so funny. Honestly, just watching your videos changes my day so quickly. Eres Increíble!! Greetings from the Dominican Republic!! :)
This should be a How I Met Your Mother episode - I low key think Jimmy's good friend "Rick" is a writer for HIMYM and has been using Jimmy's life as inspiration lol
FYI, the funniest part is Nicole had 2nd interview with him and disclosed to him that she made the 2nd move when they met again not long after at the party or award show or something. This time she tried to hint him to ask for her number and still this poor guy didn't have a clue so SHE JUST GAVE UP!
Why does she have to blame everything on him?! I have a cousin *male and he was so shy that he was asked out by the one he liked and they have been married 30 years couple kids and now grand kids :D
It stayed with her the rejection. She moved on but not forget, like we all do but some stay a litter bitter if it meant more. I think to her meant more, he didn't have a clue....
I love him so much! So cute! And I love this story! It was so funny in the tonight show they couldn't stop giggling after that! :D They've overdone it with the bronzer I think, jimmy looks orange!
