Back in 1999 while touring with Counting Crows, Adam, Jane Pratt and I were at a small bar in NY. Sitting a few tables away was Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy had already done a parity of Adam on SNL. Jane introduced us to a very shy and hesitant Jimmy. Turns out Jimmy was just afraid Adam was coming over to kick his ass for making fun of him. After they chatted for awhile, Adam invited Jimmy to open for him a couple of days later. Here is the shaky footage I got with my old trusty Canon XL1. Sorry, but I wasn't plugged into the board, so the audio it's just from the camera's mic. Enjoy!

easytoslip Definitely looks like a 3/4 but he plays a full size as well. There are tons of vids of him singing and playing one, especially now that it's about 20 years after this performance. I'm completely in love with Jimmy! ❤️😍

I had only heard Accidentally in Love by Counting Crows and thought his impression was pretty accurate, then I listened to Mr. Jones after figuring out what the song was and realized how spot on it was!
