@@dannybestever1001 that was before when he was just a guest lecturer, he's now an actual professor and member of the communication faculty at the university of texas.
@Dorota S. no i love Texas lol. Its just the stereotypes of it. Its no wonder land like everyone rants about, everyone thinks their city or country is the best. Bleeh
Well, this is a tv show and not a movie. Could he win an Emmy? Conceivably. A golden globe? Technically. But an Oscar? Not unless he films a movie portraying himself about this segment
Literally when he was simply scrambling around picking up Jimmy's stuff and telling him to get out, it reminded me of when he was scrambling around the space ship in Interstellar. Such a small thing but I noticed it. Yes, for real, he has been in the field.
Connor Fleniken I dunno, it was kinda disheartening to hear people sing along to "I've been working on the railroad" with different lyrics and be proud of the laziness necessary to make that a thing their state is known for.
@@DJB1017 Read up on the history of the tune. Was written by a Longhorn band member in 1904 to poke fun at the University president; the president liked it and died shortly after the debut, so they sang it at his funeral and the tradition was born.
I grew up in Austin, Texas I have fond memories, I wanted to go to the University of Texas, circumstance played a big part. I am so glad Professor McConaughey teaches there good for him.
He's the main reason I would think on going to University of Texas at Austin (UT) instead of Texas A&M University (TAMU) just the whole atmosphere he brings to the school and all is awesome.😫
I’m born and raised here, lived here for 29 years and I can tell you with that being kind of a rare thing these days, this video absolutely made me proud and shed a tear
Happy B-day Matthew McConaogahey. U were awesome on Tropic Thunder, love that movie. May the Peace be with u. November 4, 1969 November 4, 2019 through November 4, 3019
Jimmy and The Tonight Show In Texas was really excellent Show excellent work excellent Music Excllent Performance Excllent job loved the entire Show Live On My TV
K9 Shepherd Yeah, that was the funniest part. Reminded me that Texans are so lazy that they'd rather make up new lyrics to "I've been working on the railroad" than actually make a song. Texans are lucky that Florida hasn't fallen into the Ocean yet, no one remembers second place even when it's second most embarrassing.
