Jimmy Glass signed for Carlisle United in 1999 for an emergency loan spell. The club was in a desperate position, battling to avoid relegation and to preserve their football league status. Although he only played 3 games for the club, by the end of the spell, he had cemented his place in legend at Brunton Park.
