With both my parents being teamsters, I heard about Jimmy Hoffa’s disappearance at a young age. I have been obsessed with it most of my life. You and your guests are generally the only ones I like to listen to. You don’t bite on bs stories and you work to find answers that seem mostly likely to have occurred. Great show!
Great information on Hoffa, that was pretty deep. One thing must be said, Hoffa played a very dangerous game with some very dangerous people, what happened to him was no big surprise in the end...he at the end of the day was a lesson to others and a warning.
Fitzsimmons was a squish. He wouldn’t even dare to refuse or put stipulations on the loans from the central states pension fund to the mob like Jimmy would. Once they saw that Fitz was a pushover, they could not go back to hard-nosed Jimmy. Plus he was so obsessed with getting “his” Union back, that he got stupid with his words and started making threats. They were not about to “negotiate”, they’ll just hit you and make the problem “disappear”.
Great interview. I totally agree about the "East Coast bias". I've always said, why would Detroit need hitters from NY to get this done? As if they couldn't handle it themselves.
Hey Scott, love your work. Very informative and always interesting. Do you have any work on the connection and business between The Partnership and the outlaw MC's??
I wanted to hear way more from him and less of you talking over him. Also somewhere after an hour there’s some sort of fidgeting noise happening that’s quite intrusive. Otherwise fantastic interview. Love the history. All around my home town. You’d never know just by looking around that huge and relevant stuff happened everywhere.
I loved this Scott! Was great to hear from Greg, and being a fellow Detroit guy, I will get the book! You should really also have it linked in the description, unless I missed it @originalgangsterspod. Also beware of clipping the microphone so high on the collar of the guest (I’m sure he probably did it himself) because about the last 20-25 mins it was rubbing on his neck whiskers or collar. Again, excellent work! I love smashing those crazy stories to pieces that people have, like “would a professional hit man transport the body of one of the most recognizable men in the country any farther than they had to? NO! He was dust within hours at either central sanitation or one of the funeral homes or crematoriums owned by other family members. There were several to choose from.
Not once does Scott Burnstein mention the Andretta Brothers where Thomas Andretta chased me from the Renaissance Center crime scene on July 30 1975? Why???
I will never stop until the truth be told? Scott don't want to be exposed because he has put so much disinformation out here til he wants to close the Hoffa investigation with people believing there is no body? I understand if I put lies out there I wouldn't want the truth to be told either.
Absolutely Great Interview Scott!! This guy is a wealth of knowledge about the disappearance of James R. I think most people agree that Hoffa will never be found. Because there’s nothing to find. He may have been buried at one time but after all the pressure from Law Enforcement he was subsequently dug up and disposed of.

Great interview as usual very interesting guest but all due respect can you please show pics, short vid clips, or yourself "not being weird" just looking at this fella is like staring at a blank wall, great dialogue thou
i still fail to understand why the fbi would be involved in essentially either a missing persons or possibly a homicide case of a non federal employee or lawmaker on non federal land?? what federal law involves that purview to give jurisdiction for fbi involvement?
He was buried in the cornerstone of the GM building, ska The Renaissance Center. (But more than likely they cremated Hoffa which is why there's never found Jimmy's body)
What about the Hamtramck DPW incinerator? Less than 2 miles from central. DPW and other city officials had deep ties at the time to the family. I know a old schooler who swears they had visitors that evening..
That's right...That was good stuff as always. Your guest, Mr. Greg Stejskal was superb! This new project is definitely off to a awesome start! Thank you and The Doc for the hard work and great info!
Didn't the FBI go to central sanitation? Twice? Was the incinerator online and operational then? It was fairly recently purchased. It's a bit obvious taking his body there, considering the victim and who owned it.
Thank you for this… There have been a couple new Hoffa videos that have been posted in this genre recently and they All sucked. And all were 90% wrong! Especially the one where the guy has Russ Bufalino to be like everything regarding Hoffa and believes the Irishman🤦♂️
@@ZemaiorPittman-lz7os sorry but at the time Hoffa isn’t getting into a car with a big ass negro!!😂 Nitti definitely did work for the Brothers…just not this time😉
The interviewer, Scott Burnstein seems to know more about the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa than the retired FBI agent. This is what research does for you.
Multiple witnesses put him in the parking lot, his car was in the parking lot, and he was seen walking over to and using the pay phone at the strip mall next door. There was also a call to his home from that phone that his wife answered, where she talked to Jimmy and he asked if Tony Jack had called…..
I would assume there was prob 4-5 guys involved and they were all detroit guys. I pretty sure 2 guys involved were killed within 2 years of it. Chucky would have never been used even if he was on good terms with his “dad” and in the 1% chance he was he would have been killed at the same time or right after. He would have never been trusted and thats a huge liability to have an outsider involved with fbi all iver the place. I know marshall(caifano), joey scalise, joey hansen, harry aleman and a few others did a good amount of hits for people in other degines. Chicago wasnt as conventional as the east coast where guys in chicago would do contract hits. I know marshall and chuckie killed a few guys in la and in Cleveland back
There is a big difference between the Hoffa case where someone was murdered and the grey market steroid case he talks about at the end. I mean taking steroids are on the same severity level as getting caught smoking contraband cigerettes. Lol The only punishment those ball players got was not being elected to the Baseball Hall of fame.
@@mikemoney369 call Dan Moldea… he will prob take you seriously. He will listen to any loon that has ‘Hoffa info’ and try to turn it into a buck or free publicity… He has known Scott for over a decade and I don’t think has ever really listened to him, or the facts!lol That doesn’t pay his bills. You two would get along fantastically👌
@@josephsierzengaIV Gotta love the folks who click on the video, knowing exactly what their comment and opinion is before the ads are over. Highschool girls are the only ones that are supposed to do the kind of things that you are doing. If you didn't take part in Hoffa's disappearance, then you can't LIE about what happened... The only way you can lie about something is if you know the truth. It's conversation between 2 guys. If you are interested in the subject matter then you watch it and learn something new, hopefully and enjoy... If it's all nonsense and bs.... Don't watch it.... You watch and leave hateful, lazy and simple minded comments because it's your weak emotion and the school girl in you clawing her way to the surface. Have a blessed day!
@@andrewdoeberl7789 WTF are you talking about Doeberl??? I mean seriously? I’ve been in lock step with the Scott’s theory and opinion since his beginning…. What did I say that has you acting like your tough? Hmmmm??? And I can say whatever the hell I want. Just like you did 🫡
@@josephsierzengaIV Not trying to act tough at all. Answer the question. How can Scott or anyone else that talks about the Hoffa disappearance, spread lies? He nor anyone else knows exactly what happened, except for the people who were involved. He is asking what the former agent thinks about different theories behind Hoffa. How can anyone spread or tell a lie about something that they don't know the truth about? Opinions, theories, he said she said aren't lies. It's a case that has never been solved. It still sparks curiosity and intrigue all these years later. You are entitled to your opinion... But it doesn't make common sense at all. If you think he's a liar, then why watch the video?
Why didn't Hoffa realize He wasn't going to leave this meeting alive. Hoffa had already assaulted and been assaulted by some of the players. What 🏀🎱s on Hoffa going into this meet without protection, a partner, body guards, FBI and or the 82nd Air Borne. The Irishman claimed Hoffa's adopted son drove Hoffa to this meeting. Is there truth to that? Didn't some of these players take a partner hunting and he was never heard from?
Hoffa could of all he had to do is sit back for 5 yrs the boys were going to pay him still, under the table however The Teamsters was bigger than life for Hoffa not some mob connects, He had no choice in the early 40s and 50s, He definitely want his position back.
In Jimmy's contract hit three bosses were consulted and in agreement, Salerno for the Genovese Mob out of New York City, Santo Trafficante out of Tampa, Florida and Carlos Marcello out of New Orleans, Louisiana. Tony Accardo and Sam Giancana out of Chicago, Illinois were advised of the forthcoming hit, but played no part. After 45 years of research, I believe that Hoffa's killers were Sal Briguglio, Gabriel Briguglio, Thomas Andretta and Frank Sheeran. Steven Andretta provided the alibi for Tony Provenzano. Chuckie O'Brien, at the time of the hit he was on the outs with Hoffa although it would seem plausible that he would be involved in the hit, he was not. As to the body, Hoffa was murdered and then cremated. "It was no more complicated than that." EPD Jimmy
You are SUPPOSED to be a grown man.... Anyone with any kind of common sense about themselves knows that 1.... Your comment just makes the saying "misery needs company" ever more the truth. 2.... The only person you can control is yourself. His people? It takes a mind like yours that lumps people into a box , purely by their ethnicity, to snowball into genocide and killing all those "people" you like to put in a box... Stop it. All it takes is to have hate in your heart to hurt someone. If you don't have something nice to say... 🤐🤏🤏
Some dago you are…. Siding with the same group of head choppers who raped and pillaged Italy for centuries. Real nice there Clark 👍🏻 get a new Shtick, this “it’s the joos, it’s always the joos” shit gets old. Dearborn don’t = Dago bro……
