I just bought you're wine Michael 🍷 just amazing 👏 got the personal autographed one as well! The taste of each goes so well with a wide variety of dishes! Take care god bless!
I'm so happy to see this come out! My family is from Pittston and I met Billy one time as a kid in Home Depot. He told me my grandpa was a good guy and to always be good to him. I was little, but all I remember was my entire hand fit into the palm of his hand when I shook it lol.
You’re a doppelgänger of my late father who died in combat when I was 13. I’m 27 now, and I wish he could’ve seen these interviews with you, Billy, CP, and etc. I love how you always start the show, God Bless you and your Family.
Thank you for the opportunity to learn more. About the hidden history of our country. Its very important to know our history. So we can benefit from it and not repeat it.
Billy D'Elia gives an up close and personal narrative about Jimmy Hoffa that takes you to their table when he and Russell were conversing with him. Wow, another great sit down Michael. Blessings to you and Cammy and your children.
The but I am English and in1990 the company I worked for, Royal insurance, almost went bust, because they insured the treamesters union loan...my boss didn't like that I asked "didn't anyone watch hoffer"
I don't know why my comment got taken down . All I said was Jimmy Hoffa was extremely powerful and could have paralyzed this country at any time with a trucking strike. But ok I guess that is against RU-vid community guidelines.
I didn't "know" Big Jim, I mean, I met him several times but never interacted with him, knew his son young Jim much better. I remember when the 6:00 news in Detroit came on with the lead story was Hoffa was "missing". I looked at my husband and said, "If he's been missing since lunchtime, he ain't missing, he's dead."
Michael you're 9 years older than my dad and its reassuring to me to see you looking so good at your age. Glad to see your era is still here to teach mine as we grow older in a very strange world.
Just a couple months ago D'Elia came to my local Barnes & Noble to promote his book. I live in northeast PA by Kingston. The Bufalino family is known in this area, and I believe Bufalino lived in Kingston, PA, for years. Great interview 👍

❤️ Proof I’m not crazy. People look at me like I’m crazy when I say the mafia was huge in Pennsylvania.
Im writing this at the start of the video. Russell was a lot more powerful than most so called mob historian's give him credit for. And please trust me, Michael, is spot on here. Billy D'Elia is a real one. FBI had him as Russell's Underboss.
Billy and my father were great friends and it was at our restaurant “Piledggi’s” where they celebrated Russ’s 90th birthday. It just so happened that on that night another friend of our family came in for dinner with his wife, he was an FBI agent and as soon as he walked in Billy ripped off his glasses and was staring down this guy. They both like to have the same waitress and there was one booth open next to Billy’s table but I knew that would not end well so I sat the guy and his wife in the bar area where they couldn’t see each other.
When you say your restaurant do you mean your family owned it? My parents Nevin and June Gorki went there every Friday night for several years. They were friends with the O'malias. Ms. Omalia was Tony Pileggi's daughter.
@@PSU2024 yes! I know your parents well and I graduated with your brother Nevin. Please tell them I said hello. Friday nights were my night to work, they were a fun group of friends and I miss seeing them every Friday.
I grew up in a small city in south western Ontario Canada. In my early years it was kind of Canada mob headquarters. I was in school with the Don's kids..we are talking over 50 years ago...lots of people hated us Italians...but it was pretty clear and they made it clear...you do business with the mob...it was their rules. What wasn't reported on was that same mob boss that contributed thousands of dollars to equip kids to play hockey...and not only did he pay thousands in equipment...he was at the rink at 6 am on a Saturday morning to watch these little kids play and practice. I know this for a fact because I had a part time job in the concession booth and he knew my parents and always came to see me and give me a hug...
Frank Sheeran’s WWII combat record was intense. He pulled 411 days, where the average was 100, as a military policeman (ironically enough) and may have been present when elements of his unit, the 45th Infantry Division, liberated the concentration camp at Dachau. In any case, he came back a walking embodiment of the hardened combat veteran, not unlike Dominic Montiglio after Vietnam.
Hello Mr. Franzese, could you tell the story of when there were a group of young guys kidnapping made men and ransoming them in the 60s? You said it took two decades for the mob to get revenge on all the perpetrators. This was when you were reviewing the Mafia 2 video game. I’ve never heard that story before, it sounds very interesting.
Love the show. Might want to consider a slightly hazy glass plane to cover the background photo. It's an awesome piece of artwork, but it is causing the camera to focus on those wise guys back there. You're the star here, don't let them forget it.
You should do a sit down with John Penisi. Your response to his appearance on Insider and his subsequent response to you were both really good. He seems like a good guy. I think you two doing a sit down would be fascinating.
Michael, I love these stories, they should be told, and a movie would be great, it`s nice to see all the old guys are not in prison and living good legitimate lives, well done again.
Very nice to see ,, being from pittston growing up around here made it exciting,,,an hung out whit the some of them ,, it was the 80s into the 90s awesome,, but we get older,, but learned respect an never said no something like that,,, great to see this. ✌an god bless
Hello Michael from Windsor Ontario I am 45 and heard the Hoffa story all my life in fact my Grandfather heard him speak in Detroit I here and there dabbled in the dissapearance of Jimmy Hoffa I have a theory that he might be in the Detroit river of all the theories I have heard about Jimmy Hoffa and where he might be the Detroit river makes the most sense .
I had Thanksgiving dinner at Hoffa’s cabin back in the 80’s. His cabin in the UP of Michigan is near my family’s cabin. We used the same caretaker and got invited through Bud. Nice place.
Mike wen you going to put out the tape of your friend from prison ? That said he was a shooter n tells exactly what happen ? Been waiting for that story
Mr. Franzese...I really am interested in buying one your one off limited # of paintings of all the wise guys. I keep checking your store. Could you do an special video when it is available for purchase. Thanks michael
Is Mike Ritchitelli any relation to the mob in the Pittsburgh area? My old neighbors from Charleroi, PA were related, and my wife used to hang out with those folks than ran the mob in Monessen, Henry being one of them.
Great video like always but you said in previous videos that the canvas at least copy of it will be available from march 1st but there was nothing in this video to tell us where to get that
the irishman would have been great if they would have cast somebody younger then Dinero . that scene were he beat up that guy was so fake and i couldn't buy Dinero as frank sheeran the rest of the movie.
Hello, I'm Swiss, and I love your videos! But since I do not yet understand English very well, I activate automatic subtitles in French. Except that the translation is not very clear, could you do something for it?
@@sonnyooo338, not exactly. William D'Elia testified before a Dauphin County grand jury that indicted Mount Airy Casino Resort owner Louis DeNaples for perjury for lying to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board[6] about his long relationship with D'Elia and Russell Bufalino.

Hoffa was in lewisburg with my grandfather in 68’-69’ my Italian grandmother from south Philly just gave birth to my aunt Dawn months before visiting and hoffa held my aunt dawn pretty cool story i heard growing up. Italians have crazy stories though lol so idk if its true
Mike it's like you say. Movies are there to entertain. If people want facts watch a documentary. I never met Russ but I really believe he was a great person
Thanks again Mr. Franzese for letting the public know who witnessed Hoffa getting buried alive, in Downtown Detroit Michigan, by Thomas Andretta and three others at the Renaissance Center Construction site on July 30 1975.
That’s okay Mike I talk fast too people say I sound like I am from the East Coast because of that when I have lived in the Midwest my whole life it’s probably because I am Italian on my mom said
I personally think the iceman whacked hoffa. The iceman was richard "ritchie" kuklinski from Jersey. In an interview the iceman either hinted at or said he did it. I believe him.
Michael I like the painting that sits behind you the one with all the wise guys standing it's as if sombodey took a picture it's part and parcel with every body that's involved in organised crime the police is always hated with a platoon make I say.
I can't believe Hoffa was that naive to think that he couldn't possibly get whacked out. Especially when a big shot and well connected mob boss was trying to tell him to get out and retire. He must have really believed in what he was doing and leading the Teamsters Union was his calling and life's mission to blow off all of the warning signs that the mob was going in a new direction after he had done prison time. I guess you gotta respect it on a certain level that he was willing to die to regain that position.
Michael, I live 30 minutes north of Detroit and the rumor here was Hoffa was burried under the Rennasance Center during construction, Downtown Detroit, at least that was the rumor.
