Kevin, I’ve watched at least a half dozen of your walk/interviews, have come to the conclusion that your format for interviewing is the best I’ve ever seen in my 60+ years of living. The process of walking while talking is very disarming, and has a way of opening up your guest to really humanize them in a way I’ve never seen before! So genuine! Thanks so much for doing what you do! And thanks to your many guests too!
I agree. And with no audience, only one camera and microphone (I don't even see a lapel mic), no side-kick, no band and no producers or cameramen it makes it even that much more intimate. The very minimal nature of this helps to open up the interviewee for questions. I've seen several and all of them are great.
I swear this is the best RU-vid channel going right now. Another great episode. I hope Kevin sells this series to Netflix for $100M like Seinfeld did with Comedians in Cars!
Sir Galahad I think it’s better as a relatively unknown RU-vid series, more raw and personal and it makes it easier for the guests to open up with less pressure
So enjoyable. The best conversations I’ve personally ever experienced have happened while hiking with a friend. There is something about walking and talking! Kevin is a great interviewer, as good as Howard. I’m addicted!
Hiking with Kevin is heartwarming, funny, entertaining, informative and to top it all off inspiring. You nailed it! I look forward with glee to see who you hike with next. In the time of Corona&Trump you bring levity to my day. Thanks Kevin!
Your interviews are great and very casual and entertaining ... and unlike any other talk show ... you host more real famous celebrity per episode than most of them Keep up and I hope you get what you want 👌
Kevin, pkease make your episodes longer... i love being a fly on the wall in your walkinsation. Love the chemistry with different guests! Seriously great work! Love you man
I have watched several of these too and I just love them. I love how you poke and instigate to get your guest to crack up. So fun. I would love to see a hike with Kurt Russell and Golden Hawn.
Another pleasant hike together, Kevin, & once again, I didn't even break a sweat. I like watching Jimmy too - usually a few times a week right here on RU-vid! This was a pleasure. Thanks again.
That was the best conversation! Thanks for the video. You guys are so real. Nobody should ever threaten anyone. Stay cool and positive.--VTown Paddy Patrick
I’m an avid hiker and I do that sometimes, but most of the time I wear a designated Patagonia hiking shirt. And I usually wear long sleeve shirts and long pants because I have sensitive Irish skin and I’m worried about skin cancer, but I don’t like to use sunscreen. I’m an American Mick like Kevin
Really, really enjoying this series. Kevin Nealon is definitely a comedian's comedian, I LOVE his sense of humor. This episode was great, just two friends enjoying a actual natural conversation which is really refreshing to watch. One of these days I would love to see an unedited hike. I'm sure they go into topics/specifics of things they obviously wouldn't air for being too candid, but it would be fun to watch.
Wow! I had the same childhood as you Jimmy! The wooden spoon was very respected in our Italian home. It fed you (stirring the pasta sauce) and it was the weapon of choice by my mother too. Many were broken on my body - so much so that once I hid them knowing that it was just a matter of time before my mother would reach for the weapon of choice that I hid them all from her by putting them in the buffet cabinet drawer in the dining room. Smart right? Wrong! When that “next “time came she opened the drawer in the kitchen and saw that all her wooden spoons were missing - she didn’t skip a beat - she grabbed the steel ladle!! As I was running away I told her that I hid the spoons in the buffet - to which she made a beeline for, grabbed a wooden spoon and proceeded with the necessary Italian disciplinary action. Never hid the spoons again after that! Her other weapon of choice- was a slipper - they could have made that an olympic event for Italian mothers 🤣
@HealthEnthusiast i cannot imagine little David Spade grabbing a big shot gun and yelling threats through a bathroom door lol. But yeah, that's an INSANE story!! Did you catch the part where the cop told him, "his plan was to tase you so he could get to your gun and kill you"?! (He said his assistant was the only one who knew about his gun). And all of this over a 2 second scene in Joe dirt lmfao
I just discovered Kevin Nealon's hike/interviews and have been having great fun slowly going through them. A wonderful format and I enjoy Kevin's interviews and hearing from his guests. I never watched late night until the pandemic kept me home and now I watch 'em all. Thanks to Kevin Nealon and love you, Jimmy Kimmel. You both make me laugh.
Keavin Nealon is one of the most underrated comics in history. I'm absolutely willing to forgive him for that old "What's worse joke" finding a hair in your food or finding it and flossing with it" I'm pretty sure that was in So I Married An Axe Murderer. Nice throwback Kev!
This is my second Kevin Hiking video... I love it! THanks for posting! I have a question... has anyone else noticed that Kevin hikes in a way that he pushes his guest over to the edge of the trail, where the path is crappy??? Kevin walks in the good area and then just nudge, nudge, nudge, his guests look like they are going to fall off the paths??? The guests will start to walk behind Kevin at times to avoid the edge. Whats up with that Kevin? In your subconscious mind do you want to be only person in the camera shot? LOLOLOL
Kevin Nealon is a consistently funny dude. I started watching him on SNL reruns when I was a kid 18 years ago and I would do the subliminal guy at school. He always has a cool laid back style of comedy and it doesn't ever get stale. Hope he lives to 100 cuz you know he will only get funnier with time.
I have just discovered this channel and I've already watched about 10 of the episodes. Kevin Nealon was always one of my favorites on SNL and I've kind of followed him ever since. What a great, happy show and the guests of course are too winded to put up a defense, allowing Kevin to get to the real person. I'm looking forward to many more episodes with great guests and snappy conversations.
@Brandon S I can totally see that, he's a conniving, swarmy, snake in the grass, I would never trust him, or tell anything around him that you wouldn't want repeated, or revealed.
I love him, but I can tell that J.K. has a mean side. That time he and 'la familia' (the whole family that he either has working for him, or supports in New York) had a dude that they were mad at for some past transgression, on the show, and they did a mean prank on him. He and cousin Sal had hate in their eyes and they looked like they would have killed him! But he IS my favorite host and I choose his show over the others, although I do flip channels.
I do not normally comment on RU-vid Videos but you are AMAZING at what you are doing on this platform. You are a true professional on an amateur platform killing it. I love all your videos and I look forward to many more to come.
This is one of my favorite channels! Keep up the great work Kevin!! I know of most of the hiking trails in the Santa Monica Mountains. Let me know if you'd like me to show you some new trails.
Wow! Kevin Nealon is a tall guy! Watched him and Dave Spade. Now with Kimmel, I always thought Jimmy was a very tall! Love how Jimmy talks about his love for cooking!! Aunt Chippy and her broken spoons🤣🤣🤣👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥄🍷🍾
