My mom taught me that. Yell ""fire" and ppl will pay attention and see what is going on and the attacker will get scared. If you yell "help" ppl don't want to get involved. I was 5 years old.

Yes actually that's what they teach you to do in school (in most schools in NA, it is part of the safety curriculum) that if someone tries to kidnap/take you, to yell; "Fire!" rather than "help!"
