This film is just a treasure trove of nostalgia for me. I love all the crazy gadget Jimmy's invented t help perform the most mundane tasks, Goddard is such a good boy and one of the best cartoon dogs ever, Jimmy's dad, Hugh, is hilarious, I love the design of the Yolkians, Patrick Stewart and Martin Short play off each other really well as King Goobot and Ooblar, and and the entire climax is just so entertaining. And the show is even better, one of Nickelodeon's absolute best.
Classic film from childhood. R.I.P. Aaron Carter. His song from “leave it up to me” sometimes randomly gets in my head. The songs in here were such a moment in time. Also I loved the TV show.
You know, they actually adressed that breathing in space thing in one episode of the show: Sheen: Hey, Jimmy, there is a question I always wanted to ask you. How come, whenever we are in outher space, we don't got to wear helmets? Jimmy: Good question, Sheen, and the answer is quiet interesting. You see... *cut to Karl singing badly in the passanger seat* As you can clearly tell, there is an excellent explanation provided by the show as to why they don't need to wear helmets.
This is one of those movies where I’m randomly hit with a memory of a scene. The kid crying because he ate so much cotton candy, the parents doing the chicken dance, and the humongous impending chicken butt are all vividly imprinted in my mind
them being able to breath in space was a whole gag in the series. Sheen asked Jimmy how they're able to do that and they had Carl sing over the entire explanation so we couldn't hear it
I remember having this film on VHS. The nostalgia is real. And yeah a Jimmy Neutron show was made and then later cancelled because a whole 3d animated show was expensive.
Rugrats was (no pun intended) WILD in theaters! They handed out these "smell-o-vision" 4D Scratch N' Sniff cards with various objects on them. A notification would flash on screen telling you to scratch and sniff a specific box, like peanut butter or gross socks. I was only 7 when it came out, but I still remember it vividly because of the smells associated with the experience LOL.
The Tv show is my third favourite Nickelodeon cartoon. The first one is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the second one is Danny Phantom. I like Spongebob Squarepants but is too long, and the Penguins of Madagascar are based on a movie so they don't count.
@@nicktechnubyte1184 The 2012 version. But yes, I know the 2003 version is good, I just don't mentioned it because it wasn't produced by Nickelodeon like the 2012 version.
Love this movie as much as I love the show, glad to see you react to it... I also recommend watching the show too if you ever get the chance, it's honestly pretty good for all ages
You NEED to react to Moulin Rouge with Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. It’s a musical film which is like so beautifully strange and different than a lot of other movies. But definitely a heartbreaker, very sad but so worth the watch! ♥️
Some people confuse family movies with kids movies. They end up asking themselves "Is this a kids movie?" when they see the subtle or not so subtle adult content. Not nickelodeon. The majority of their content is 100% aimed at kids. This is without a doubt a kids movie. And it's still a lot of fun! 😁 Not only should they not be able to breathe in space, they should've also frozen to death but hey, technicalities.
The show that followed the movie is really good. It's really crazy but my god it's a lot of fun. Even as an adult I can still love this movie and the show. This is just good fun.
Thanks for watching one of my fav Nickelodeon Movies! You should watch some more Nickelodeon Movies like Barnyard, Good Burger, The Rugrats Movie, Rango and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie!👍👍
Do all of them! Studio Ghibli has my favorite anime movies! Real Steal is pretty good. I think you need catch up on old school Disney classics. Like The Rescuers Down Under it's better than the first one!
I'm catching up on your vids, and you asked for some more movies to watch., including anime movies. Could I suggest Escaflowne? It was a series originally, but it got a movie that condensed and retold the story somewhat; The Vision of Escaflowne actually has a few different alternate-universe stories, but since this is a movie channel, the movie is my request. I'm not sure if anyone else will suggest it as it's a bit older and never really caught on (timing perhaps; I think if the anime got an updated reboot, it would be very popular now).
I loved this movie when I was younger my favourite shows on nickelodeon were fairly odd parents Rugrats Ned classified school, survival guide the wild Thornberrys movie SpongeBob SquarePants Dora the Explorer zoey, 101 as you can see I watched a lot of shows
Yes it is it just ain’t the same as it was in 90s and early 2000s when we used to have cartoons like doug rugrats ren and stumpy show rockos modern life hey Arnold catdog the wild thornberrys rocket power many others show all that and kenan and kel the Amanda show
The closest star to us is roughly 4 Lightyears away. It has no livable planets. And honestly I don't know the next closest planet, but it's definitely farther than us and our neighbor star are from each other by a decent margin. In fact, while livable planets in terms of temperature and potential conditions on the surface of a planet are numerous and often seen around dwarf stars, the most realistic planet to even sustain life is one with a gas giant as protection from the biggest asteroids and comets that may head for the planet. Without Jupiter, mass extinctions would have went way up in number based on asteroids alone, making us a bit more like the Moon. The moon in fact was made by a proto planet hitting our Earth that lowered our planets mass and helped create a lot of the more complex minerals on our world. Another issue is that a planet's size would be important because too big and we get crushed, too small and our bones become less dense and brittle. Plus the Moon is important for life because of it keeping Earth's rotation from going even faster. So many things to consider for other planets and life that it's rare to find planets in a livable atmosphere and even harder to find systems remotely close to our own as a whole. But anything is honestly fun information.
Lil Romeo and Nick Cannon's remix to DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's song Parents Just Don't Understand isn't that bad. What do you think about it pops?
LMAO was just going to reccomend Dr stone when you said that. Then right before I do you saw the one show you can think of the does it is Dr stone bahahaha
Nickelodeon either had no faith in this movie or a lot of faith in this movie because they advertised this movie like crazy. They had Jimmy messing with other nicknames. They had shorts made and they even had Partnerships with food brands like oldea
So many adult reactors are surprised that this is a kids' movie. Does no one pay attention to the aesthetics of thumbnails? There could be some built-in stereotypes of sci-fi being for adults. Seriously though, it's not THAT surprising...
