They are the most talented band, that’s for sure. All four members were the best musicians with their instruments. However, in my humble opinion, I think Pink Floyd is just slightly better overall.
When I was a child and listened to Zepp's songs, I thought Jimmy was a mythological being (because a human couldn't play so wonderfully). So, one day I met him, talked to him, heard his voice and his laughter ... oh, he's human. But a human so talented, so brilliant, so incredible that it's almost unreal ...
He’s so darling when he laughs and smiles. He’s never lost that. I’ve seen him live doing the same thing on stage. He still gets a kick out of music and life.

I wish Ellen had mentioned at least one specific thing, a song, or a concert, to show that she was familiar with Led Zeppelin in the 1970s. Whether she knows them or not, she was just incredibly bland and only asked generic questions. Anyway, Jimmy Page gracing Ellen's set is a little like God coming down to make a guest appearance on the Tonight Show. Nice to hear him speak and see him smile.
20 million people applied to get tickets to the one reunion show Led Zeppelin did perform. That's mind blowing. I doubt they will ever do a reunion tour but if they did it would without doubt be the highest grossing tour of all time.
24.05.75 - Earl's Court, London, £2.50 - queued all night after legging it down from Birmingham on the train the day before. Went to the back of the auditorium during "Stairway" and 19,000 cigarette lighters came on.... unforgettable night. Best band EVER and I saw em all.......
Wow I don't watch Ellen but it's awesome to see such a talented legend on her show, mainly cuz I usually notice just lame pop singers and stuff on her show. The sad thing is probably half her audience doesn't know who he is.
joseph gordon levitt HAS to play Jimmy in the biopic someday. Joseph's a great actor and he looks like a young jimmy (and you'd need very little persuasion to believe so).

He is a putting all kinds of music that has influenced him since he was a teen. what would be great would be another unledded thing. People pledging their genitalia to see Led Zeppelin. Well if you often have a lead singer like Robert Plant who often sounds like a castrato... Honestly, look at the eyes of Jimmy Page when he talks about performing live. People would expect Led Zeppelin 1975 - and he knows that he can't pull that off at his age. Robert Plant is protecting what is left of the enigma by not touring.

Page was 64, Plant about 60, & they more than pulled it off- they were incredible, the sound, the performance, with Jason Bonham on the drums doing his father proud-it naturally is harder for Plant because his voice is his instrument- but u can't count him out, he's still very busy touring doing other stuff, so y not Zeppelin? & What about the look in Jimmy's eyes when he talks about playing live? That proves he can pull it off - & has the drive, talent, & desire to play- & no, it doesn't have to be 1975
Ed9870 Actually he can...but I think they should hang their hats up. I hate seeing the Stones on stage, grandpas who are a shadow of what they used to be. Zeppelin would never be the same without Bonham. Page/Plant tours in the mid 90’s were pretty awesome when they still had their swagger and sex appeal. 🤘🏻
+Cerell Morrison I'd agree if I didn't see videos of him touring with other bands playing Zeppelin songs with those other bands....I mean he doesn't want to tour with Zep but plays Zep songs, I don't get it.
I'll tell you why, because he's been playing led Zeppelin all his life, obviously he wants to do other things, he plays the zeppelin songs live because q majority of fans that see him solo want to hear Zeppelin, he's not going to stop his other projects and tours with folk groups and other interesting musicians and solo tours, to pack all that in and go do another sell out Zeppelin tour like he's done for 40 years of his life
+Cerell Morrison he cannot reach nearly as far as he could vocally, especially in the early days 69-71. He knows it, we know it, and so to try to go back or even do a modern day version of Zeppelin, would be an injustice to their original sound. I for one am grateful. To see Led Zeppelin touring like the stones now would make my soul weep. Also i think there may be some other contributing factors which Plant seems to hint at here and there in vague undertones. Either way and for whatever reason I personally do not want to see Zeppelin reunite as much as i love them, they never could anyway. Not really.
I would have positively sh*t myself if I were interviewing Page. I mean, I'd try and keep it together..and could probably actually talk shop about guitar ( as I do play the instrument ) and hopefully some other of his interests...but still.. I have so much to say to the man but I wouldn't know where to start.
