Is she really trying to suggest that this guys trace fibers possibly traveled on complete strangers, picked up in random public settings, and somehow it got into that rental car connected to this Murder?!? That’s about as far reaching as one could get. Just absurd.

Ummmm...” she’s such a whiner... she wants to paint a picture she didn’t get what she needed but in reality she doesn’t know what the hell shes doing! I believe you have the blonde/grey State assistant prosecutor mixed up with the blonde defense attorney. There’s no way any of you could possibly mean the prosecutor, who has a few decades of experience and is extremely good at what she does. She and her partner did get the death penalty for Mark Sievers, after all.
Love that she remembers the descriptors of the evidence she tested, this woman is on her game! She is professional and thorough and not to be messed with! The FBI truly does employ and train the best of the best scientists and analysts!! Amazingly interesting stuff...
The FBI scientist knows her stuff! Jimmy’s brother even looked stunned at the damning evidence when the camera panned the crowd. There’s no way to discredit this evidence anymore. It’s too precise and it’s all over Jimmy, the car and the crime scene. “Karen” the defense attorney should just stand down.

Seems like defence is floundering, trying to discredit the evidence-questioning collection method, transferring it, etc.. “seems like a case of defence claiming “it could of come from anyone, anywhere”. Just a coincidence her client happened to have the same coveralls, drove/rode in the car...no way it could be him”. It’s not who manufactured them, it’s who wore them. They have to accept the fact that the witnesses are subject matter experts. How many times does she need to ask did you test....
The FBI Trace Evidence Examiner reminds me of Kathy Najimy from the movie Hocus Pocus with Bette Midler and Jimmy Rodgers reminds me of a very young Jim Nabors who played Gomer Pyle on TV.
I really dislike how the defense tries to discredit the FBI analyst. She’s very transparent in her basic strategy of attempting to discredit the FBI, the sheriff’s department and the analyst herself. In no way would these fibers just appear out of nowhere and land on Dr. Sievers and the car. Many cold cases are being solved with trace evidence and if scrappy defense attorneys attempt to discredit science it’s shameful way of winning a case. In addition trace evidence is now being used to exonerate someone convicted of a crime.
I think that’s why she objected yesterday so passionately and was asking for a couple week continuance for a last minute attempt to work out a plea deal now seeing how hard they are screwed!

He absolutely _does_ like his job, I’ve seen other trials. What he _doesn’t_ like is unprepared and (seemingly) incompetent counsel, and I can’t blame him for that. Thank goodness she sat in the gallery for Mark Sievers’ trial, and didn’t say a peep, that I noticed.
