I am 66 years old and haven’t heard this song since I was a teenager. You cannot imagine how grateful I was to hear it again and to find the lyrics, as I dreamed about it early this morning. In my dream…I was seated at a table w/my family when this song began to play. I actually knew the words, singing along loudly, and tapping my hands on the table along with the glorious rhythm. I looked up to see my pastor across the room looking over at our table. This is all I remember of the dream, but cannot help wondering if the song has some kind of personal significance? Motown music has always been my favorite. It’s so sad that it has become a lost art!

This, in my humble opinion, is one of the greatest songs written. Very overlooked. The production is classic too. The lyrics are so thought out and of course Jimmy killed it.

Inspirational tunes seem to be extinct nowadays and this is still one of the very few songs that I will stop completely and listen to when I hear it playing.

This song speaks volumes for the world we live in today, this is the state of mind for a LOT of people. Suicide is up far more than it was during the time when this song was recorded, the senseless killings that are taking place seems like so much love has been lost for mankind (meaning towards each other). This is the Anthem for today's world 🌎 💔 😢 ijs

WOW!!!Thank you for this info, and I can truly understand it Paul was so hurt and was done so wrong. As far as the movie Temptations that part about Paul spoke volumes about Otis should be ASHAME of himself and any and everyone else who had any part in that I feel Paul's blood is on their hands. Temptations Forever? What happen to that? Motown should be paying royalties to Paul's Family to this day, if their not something is very wrong. ijs
