THANK YOU for posting these classic Gospel recordings! Reminds me of my spiritual mom, Ruth Anne,, a classmate's mom. I went to church with her even when her kids didn't want to go anymore. She used to play Jimmy's songs on tape when her husband was at work. Fond memories indeed. WOW!!!!! When Jimmy said, "A little fiddle now!" 40 years disappeared for a minute and I remembered being at my friend's house, with her mom playing these songs! Fond memories!
Same here, I owned this record as a teenager (the rest of the 18/20 JS records belonged to my mom), and when he said "a little fiddle now.." my memory shot back 45 years! 🤗🙏👍🎧
I wish I had bought this record in the 70s instead of the ignorant pop garbage I was buying. I wasn't saved then and just didn't know any better. Thank God I am saved now and though I regret so many wasted years my overall attitude is "Better late than never!!" ✝️❤️
Brother swaggart. Is a true man of god. He can sing and play the piano like nobody's business. My mother got into him in the mid-eighties. She ordered vinyls and tapes in 1988. She became a born again Christian in 1986. Started to listen to him and i loved him. That started in 1990. This album is a wonderful one Jimmy made in 1976. Jim records 126. Notice Dwaine and phil johnson brothers could enhance his sound and style. You could also notice Jimmy trying to mimic elvis at times. It was still elvis timeframe. Yes Jimmy did a great job at that imitating elvis. 😂
This is one of my favourite albums. It is worship and a sermon in one...Thank you so much for uploading. The version of "He is Lord" is probably the best. God bless you so much
